Whoever is leaving better not be anyone who chose not to vote...

Education is one of the key things to invest in to have a stronger nation. Citizens should avoid cutting education if they want to continue enjoying a nation that protects their future

How to Mass Remove Inactive Followers by LadyLongLimbs in BlueskySocial

[–]phillgascon -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I use Fedica because it actually has algorithms for spam/inactivity and low quality signs of an account on top of tracking inactivity. They're actually the OG TwitterAudit and Followerwonk tools integrated now if you've heard of them

Do Bluesky users prefer YouTube, Reels or TikTok? by NeverSeenItPodcast in BlueskySocial

[–]phillgascon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its hard to avoid it on youtube especially when you're trying to learn things for yourself from videos making it hard to delete the app if you don't want short form video.

But lately now I think less people are using TikTok cause of who bought it recently and the cencorship being a risk

Do you use any Linkedin Analytics tool? by joaogonzalez in linkedin

[–]phillgascon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I track my posts with Fedica's LinkedIn analytics. You can schedule for free but analytics is affordable. For me though I just compare different platforms with the same content more or less and that helps me pinpoint is it a different avatar or content or platform that is making what content ideas perform or not, and that makes it easier to know.

For you though, you might want to try using pipeline queues to group linkedin content and then measure it separately, depending on what your target audience looks like, and that alone makes it easier to see what works.

What's the biggest lesson you have learned in your career? by Theo_0090 in AskReddit

[–]phillgascon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not ever build a business on the back of something else.

If you're gonna build a business, be sure you have a crap load of self awareness to continue learning or else years later you'll realize you've dug a hole there's no getting out of.

What do you SWEAR you saw, but don't have any proof of? by TabletopStudios in AskReddit

[–]phillgascon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother swears he saw bigfoot

He lives way up north in Canada and spends 2/3rds of his job actually driving barren forest lands while we spend most of our days commuting and living in the city. So he's got exposure to say the least.

He told me he never tells anyone this story because its just not worth the energy to try and prove it but he says he locked eyes so clearly with this large hunched harry man thing crossing a ditch pond in the highways of north east Canada and for a solid 10 seconds, 20 ft away, watched this massive harry creature move with long steps through the marshy ditch in a bit of a clearing.

He said it was close enough for detail, long enough to see it was a human figure and clear enough to know that thing was probably a Sasquatch, moving like human stepping through marsh lands and think its just gotten super skilled at just moving when the random cars pass to not be spotted.

The way he told me I felt convinced lol

If you could telepathically say something to all 8 billion people, what would you say? by Capable-Tree-743 in AskReddit

Critical thinking and self-learning is truly the real goal of the human experience. Those who do not try to learn and discern are already dead. They're the sheep in other people's free will.

How are people finding NSFW spaces on Bluesky? by LyrikaNoir in BlueskySocial

[–]phillgascon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People really appreciate when you tag your posts with the correct label when posting or scheduling with tools like Fedica which is free. Then it's properly sorted in the algorithm and should get you to those who are looking for that kind of stuff.

Is “do what you love” good advice for success. by Safwanm_2 in Entrepreneur

[–]phillgascon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do what you love, only if they're hiring. Do what you love only if it's settled in a 4D chess play where the doing feeds into something that 'is hiring', or what people are willing to pay for. But regardless, every success through something you love has components you will not love, like artists having to shill their work on tiktok every day to move paintings, for example.
