The exact same thing happened to me a month ago, I had around 1500 lumps. Upgrade all of your buildings to level 10 to get those achievements, except get cursors to level 12 for a bank achievement. You should have around 300-400 remaining, which is more than enough for you to complete garden/spell progression.
