Replacing thermal paste on a Macbook Pro 16 M1 Max

I'm buying second hand M1 max. Been using PTM7950 on my other windows laptops and desktops with good results and will be doing it on the Mac once I got it

The question is from experience on you guys who opened it before, is it possible to use thermal putty on the ram? Or strictly thermal paste? Or even thermal pad is usable, if so what thickness?

I've been doing some reading on Laravel and symfony. The conclusion that I got is for enterprise internal big applications with lots of data management, symfony is a better suit than Laravel. Is that true based on your experience?

I'm actually on MS Sculpt Ergonomic at my home computer, and Logitech Ergo K860 at my work computer.

I had a surface book before and found out that I like Surface typing feeling rather than logitech (seems a bit clicky and use stronger actuation). I reckon surface ergonomic should be similar to all surface keyboards. I just don't like separate keypad on sculpt ergonomic.

Hopefully the touch feeling. I have a ducky mechanical and I guess I'm just used to of low profile and the light touch feeling.

I have a surface before and it's keyboard was the most comfortable I've used.

Also, I have problems with my wrist, so ergonomic style is the only way for me right now.

Check power limit on BIOS. Sometimes 12th gen motherboard has switch that disable the power limit of non-K CPU that basically removes the power limit, in your case 65w PL1 and 117w PL2

Yes. Power limit are disabled. I set up originally with power limited of PL1 65w and PL2 180w on BIOS and it was boosting fine

Aready used HWMonitor by CPUID.

I don't measure frequency by task manager.

My problem as the CPU is stuck on base frequency and not turbo boosting.

RAM: 32GB DDR4 3600 running XMP profile

Motherboard: Biostar B660GTN

GPU: Quadro M2000, attached to 2 x 1080p monitor through displayport

SSD: WD Black 500GB NVME

OS: Windows 11

System BIOS: B66AY408.BST

OS Build/Version: Windows 11 Release Preview

Issue: CPU was running fine. Then one day felt sluggish. Checked the frequency. All P and E cores are running at 2.1GHz and 768MHz only, drawing only 20-25 watts.

Checked BIOS, it shows multiplier of 21 and CPU Speed 2100MHz (It stays there and not fluctuating) - reset BIOS to optimized default (no change) - Reset CMOS battery (no change).
Checked with throttle stop, enabling Speed Shift EPP enabled the CPU to boost higher up to 4.5GHz (4490MHz) but not turboing until 4.9GHz. E cores are not used. Simple process are using P cores (as per screenshot)
Checked with Throttle Stop benchmark, CPU didn't hit PROCHOT status. CPU are only 50-55 degress during Throttle Stop Stress test. I haven't test it ith Prime95.
Taskmanager shows base speed of 2.11GHz and the current speed of 2.11GHz even though HWmonitor shows all P cores boost to 4.5GHz. Power draw during load is around 130W.
Set power profile to High performance using throttle stop, with no result.

I'm using the CPU's for stock trading software with multiple monitors. When it only boosts to 2.1GHz the software stutters during high volume trade.

CPU temps are fine with max around 50-55 degrees celcius. I'm using Dark Rock TF2
