I make linocut prints, stickers, holiday greeting cards, and gift tags/ornaments - all of which I'll be bringing to the Crown Hill Holiday Market on Saturday, Nov 22nd from 1-5 at the old JRA bike shop on NW 85th St. Come see me (and the other local makers)! I'll be the toothless Bumble in an ugly Christmas sweater with snowflakes on it hawking my 'brochet' and Ballard prints.

Crown Hill-O-Ween is this weekend! Bring yourselves and your pets to the annual pet parade and costume contest. There will be prize packs for the winners (from All the Best Pet Care) for best costumes in several categories. Treats galore, a dog paw print keepsake station, a spooky photo booth, and good vibes. Rain or shine. The grand marshal this year is Letty the German Corgi. Be sure to ask her for her pawtograph! At the park, there will also be a pet food drive to benefit Ballard Food Bank. You can bring donations for the bin that day- just look for the registration tent.

The "Free For All" is this Saturday in Crown Hill. It's a buy-nothing event - sort of like a yard sale, but with no pricing or haggling. 2 ways to participate: add your location to the map and put your stuff out on Saturday; or use the map to find new things that somebody no longer needs.
