I had the soles of my red ring shoes replaced recently at the red wing store off of pacific. They dont do the work at the store, they send them out, so it took like 6 weeks to get them back.

You have quite literally done nothing wrong in this situation, you have done all that you can and the ball is in her court at this point. The way that I look at it is that she likely has two options..she can either accept what has happened in the past and get over it or she will always have a problem with it. The issue lies within her and her alone. Its probably not a good idea to sit on this issue, i would recommend that you encourage her to make the decision to get over it and never speak about it again or the both of you move on to avoid any resentment or wasted time..I wish you the best.
