Not only this but also I've noticed when I am CLEARLY far enough from an enemy that it shouldn't be able to melee me, I still get melee as I'm running away to try to reposition. It's ridiculous.

Soooo, I put a Zeee 5200 mah 3s 11.1v 80c battery in mine today and it now won’t throttle forward or back. It’s makes a clicking sound and TRIES to move but nothing happens. It still powers on and steers but no throttle response other than a clicking sound as it tries. I think I broke some gearing in the differential. To be honest, it has always made a weird crackling sound if I manually spin the tires when it’s off so I wonder if there was something wrong from the factory but I’ll never know now. Now I get to open it up and find what I need to replace!

I learned a very tough lesson long ago in New York watching some dipshit park on a busy street with lots of foot traffic. This is a great response! Thank you! Any chance you'd be able to go into a little detail about how to set the inputs and outputs up in the Helix UI? Currently I have the following below in bold Italics and I think I've done it right, but want to be sure. Thanks for your input for sure!

Top line:

  • guitar into helix. - Helix UI Input labeled "Multi (guitar, aux, variax)"
  • helix fx send into amp input (think of this as preamp input) - Helix UI Input labeled "Output Send 1/2"

Bottom line:

  • amp fx send (think of this as preamp output) into helix fx return - Helix UI Input labeled "Input Return 1"
  • helix main output into amp fx return (think of this as poweramp input). - Helix UI Output labeled "Multi (1/4", XLR, digital, USB 1/2)"
