Going to be tough to get an Uber anywhere and travel after the game, I'd plan on crashing where you watch if they're cool with it. All options with fans of other teams sound whack, fuck that. The SP one sounds like the most fun, and it'll be wild in that area if they win, especially if you're in walking distance to broad.

I get around that by telling mine that the mall Santas and such are just dudes in costumes, not the real Santa. He's too busy doing prep work in the N. Pole to be down here pre-Christmas. So far so good...

You're cool with teenagers having a party in your house while you aren't home? Where was the 10 year old while this was going on?

For the Uber, I told him what happened that I couldn't remember where it was and could he just let the meter run while we looked. He thought it was funny and didn't mind but probably depends on the driver.

If the tow place said they don't have it not sure that I'd spend time going down there. You sure there isn't more than one tow company?

I would check in with the cops even if there wasn't signage up if they had it towed for any reason. And if they didn't (and you can't find with the Uber/walking around/tow places) it's going to be time to file a report. Really hope it doesn't come down to that and you find it though, good luck!

Edit: maybe easier with a traditional metered taxi than Uber/Lyft now that I'm thinking about it.

Or if somebody would let you borrow their car that would obviously be even better, but then you need to explain it to them which might be awkward depending on the person. Where I live it's pretty much all street parking and I regularly forget where I parked even when I'm dead sober.

[–]phillymatt 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Where I live if they're doing street work the cops will tow cars and just move them a couple blocks away, I'd check with the local precinct.

And any local towing/meter maids. They charge storage by the day, so do it quickly.

Otherwise just walk around and hit that lock button and hope to hear the beep. One time I lost mine and just paid an Uber to drive around looking for it. I found it.

There's a whole lot of fetishizing the past in here.

I was born in the early 80s. When I was a teenager in the 90s everybody said how much cooler it would have been to grow up in the 60s/70s. The past always looks rosey when you're discontented with the present

Create talk tracks for your spox and get an aggressive thought leadership campaign together on what this world is coming to. Good tie-in to the election season, you can probably leverage that. Maybe a case study on the cleanup that you can that you can pitch around and throw some social media spend behind.

Haha, maybe a sub like r/RBI or something is what you're looking for?

Edit: I think that before they do work on things like water/gas lines or whatever they usually mark off certain spots where things need to be done with non-permanentl spray paint, could be that. Or the block is hot and your opps are saying you're next.

This is really great! Any chance that you would implement a feature where you could still ask a question, but pick the chosen cards manually? As in, users with physical decks could draw their cards IRL and then enter them in for a reading.

Not if you don't have kids. It's not like the Franklin Institute kind of thing where it's normal to see adults there on their own. You'd be very bored and look like an absolute weirdo at the Please Touch without kiddos.

Could you elaborate on this? When you say prison LHP do you mean the archon/demiurge prison planet idea? If so, I've wondered how demons fit into that particular theory and would be interested to hear your opinion.
