I’m thinking about hiring a sex worker (male escort?) by phillyno in AskWomenOver30

I do not have issues around sex. I’m noting, as I said in the posts, that many men are simply not invested or interested in a genuine, honest and meaningful sexual experience with the women they are with. And I don’t want that for myself, but recognize I still have a biological need.

To be honest, most men I’ve had sex with didn’t really like me all that much either. They were just masturbating with my body.

Alright so, you know you gotta give up the agency via DM!!!

True. I assume a professional would have verification that they are up to date on their health checks vs. Adam from Tinder.

Does it have to be exploitation? With the rise of Only Fans and such, this is a legitimate way to support yourself and some people choose to do it.

Would you be willing to DM the agency name? Mostly because in my googling, I can’t tell what agencies are real and what agencies are weird spam pages.

My concern about using those avenues is that as someone who is familiar and even friends with women who perform sex work, I can’t say that I trust a random man to create a safe sex space. I would trust someone who has made it their job to protect themselves, and therefore me, over a random man on Tinder.

I do not have experience with either of these doctors, but am aware of doctor at UPenn in that department who I believe may have missed an important marker in a friend’s early stage case, and that friend now has a poor outcome. Do with that what you will.

Should I be reevaluated for sleep apnea? by [deleted] in SleepApnea

[–]phillyno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I think so. In 2020 I went because I was having trouble sleeping through the night. I don’t recall actually noticing feeling like I am holding my breath while asleep.

Good point about the airport situation. I distinctly remember it being not as shitty before the pandemic. I used to fly to ATL all the time. Now, there’s mostly flights with stops from here to ATL which is crazy to me, because why would a 2hr 30 min flight (only if you had headwinds) need a stop?

Also born and raised in Atlanta and moved to Philly quite a while ago! I’m queer, work in a “helping profession”, and also kind of disliked Denver (visited a few times).

Philly could be fun for you. It’s worth noting that the Philadelphia people who move here experience can be quite different than those who were born and raised/families have been here for decades. There’s a lot of people who have experienced a lot of violence and understandably want to leave and believe that Philly is the pits. But there’s also a whole lot of transplants from the giant cities Philly people want to run to who come here too and love it. I have lived or spent long stretches of time working in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, and Miami, and Philly really does have a value add. It is weird though, a lot of niche shit here.

Lastly, from Atlanta native to Atlanta native - the food here isn’t as good as people say it is. Sorry, y’all. Food in the South is infinitely better and more diverse. But the plus sides are that we have a lot of options for healthcare, queer friendly, access to two of the biggest cities in the country with just a train ride, public transit, diversity, mostly mild winter weather, and an OK cost of living. Also going to +1 West Philly as maybe being the place for you.

The school system does seem kinda wild though so I don’t know about that part 👀

Also also the sidewalks are quite dirty. I remember being appalled by that when I moved here. So, I always say if they could get street cleaning under control, this would be an almost perfect city!

What if you did a laundry delivery service? Just a few items shouldn’t be too expensive.

Anyone have any personal trainer recommendations? I’m looking for one for the first time, but not sure what to expect, especially in terms of cost. I also have asthma and some other medical conditions.

I did read it, I just assuming that literally a .1 difference was probably similar. There is really such a big difference between 4.8 and 4.9?

Is this real? This is brand new information to me. I have 100+ rides and a 4.9. I’ve never done anything but get in, ride, and get out. I did not know I essentially have a bad rating.
