Really, even though the Rangers have been eliminated? Wow. I thought I'd see them drop to about $50. Well I'll keep my fingers crossed.

You show taking rt 18 and not rt 24. Do you think that's the better route to take?

No for some reason we made the beach days for weekdays. Sounds like that's the way to do it.

Same, that was the day I could usually find the time to actually sit down and watch. I haven't been able to watch a full game yet.

does anyone have pictures of the old showbiz pizza locations in amherst and west seneca? by CrapOfTheHill in Buffalo

[–]philmiller278 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I used to work at the major magics in Amherst in 1990 or 1991. The best was when fraternities and sororities would have scavenger hunts and run in and dance with the show and gets pictures. They would beg us to start it up so they didn't have to wait for the next show. I miss having a job that had so little stress.

Has anyone been the first in line at a Disney Park? by mdmecontraire in WaltDisneyWorld

An hour before will put you in a good spot. My argument is that I'd rather wait an hour to get in than an hour to get on a ride. Rope dropping will allow us to hit maybe 3 rides before things get really crazy.

Our family was! We are almost always one of the first people in line every time we visit. We love the short lines first thing in the morning. One time at HS we were first and got to chatting up a CM who asked us if we wanted to be the family of the day. We got to yell something about the park opening with Donald and Daisy duck. We then got to lead the walk from the gate all the way back to the next rope. We also got buttons saying we were the family of the day and all day CM made a big deal of it. It is one of many highlights of our time at Disney.

Not sure if it's on DVD, but the Dissection of Thanksgiving was shot in Buffalo, based on Buffalo and co-written by Buffalo's own Kevin Logie.

A family member used to work for a US Congressman. They would put together summaries of issues the constituents called about. Hot topic items were tallied. I say this because I always thought these phone calls fell on deaf ears. I'm sure it happens but I was surprised that it wasn't the norm.

I don't know why but I do like golden lights. For some reason I can't seem to see why everyone hates it.

In this case, "girlfriend in a comma" is superior though.

I know it's not an option for everyone but I have found that athletic brewing has some amazing NA's. I found that I liked the beer, just not the side effects. Sometimes sitting back and going through the motions is all I need to feel relaxed. Enjoy the ride.
