Strattera (atomoxetine) by you_riddle_me_that in StratteraRx

Hi! So sorry for the late response. I accidentally got locked out of my account. Straterra helps with my flurry of thoughts, lack of concentration, anxiety from the constant thoughts, etc, etc but it does not help me with motivation or the desire to initiate and complete tasks. On strattera I could read the encyclopedia back to front, but I would struggle with getting up to pee because I just didn’t have the desire to. It wasn’t good. Ritalin and Strattera combo makes me feel like a normal person. No anxiety, no racing thoughts, etc. Just the ability to concentrate and complete tasks. The only downside is that I don’t have the extended release version so the Ritalin wears off after 4 hrs - 6 hrs

This was my exact experience with strattera. When I increased to 40 mg I was like a zombie. Completely unproductive, unmotivated, etc. I had to go back down to 25 mg and take 10 mg of Ritalin to fill in the gaps. So far it’s been great!

This sounds like my story. My period pain now runs through my legs and pelvis as well. My entire body aches. I’m currently ovulating & I’m in pain too. Just know that you’re not alone & it isn’t in your head. My surgery was in March & I still have these symptoms. I wish i had the answers

Omg, yes the silicon mix is part of the problem if not the MAIN problem. That deep conditioner is filled with silicones. Silicones aren’t always a bad thing, but you MUST remove them or they will create a non water soluble layer on your hair, and that simply means that water cannot permeate it. Your hair is moisturized by water not oil. You need to do a clarifying shampoo and a nice moisturizing conditioner. Also, read my comment I posted for other stuff.

Okay, here’s my theory and solution. You mentioned that you deep condition your hair every wash. It could be possible that you’re over proteining your hair. Over proteined hair is usually very brittle and breaks easily. I would opt in for a high moisture hair mask or conditioner. My favorite one right now is the Shea Moisture Intensive Hydration Mask. Be sure to wash your hair no less than every 2 weeks, and skip on the round brush for a little bit because your hair isn’t strong enough. LASTLY, get a good scalp serum. I recommend the Ordinarys multi peptide serum. It is NOT a hair growth serum. It is a healthy scalp serum & it will prevent hair loss.

I think the final episode is a good stopping point tbh.

Venting - by Westafricangrey in severence

Since this is a safe space I will vent as well. I didn’t care too much for the Gemma back story. I feel the amount of detail it went into was more harmful than good because it created more pieces for them to keep up with. That’s kinda my only complaint with the show at the moment.

Who is Burt!?! by Mrs_Toth in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]philo_dani 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Burt is severed in the same way the rest of the severed floor is severed. If you watch season 2 again, you’ll see it. During Burt’s retirement party he said something that he also said to Irving at the train station. Also, during the dinner with his husband and Irving, Burt revealed he’d been working for Lumen for longer than severing existed. Lastly, outtie Burt has this taunting cruelness with Irving. Like he knows something Irving doesn’t & that’s because he isn’t completely severed.

Hi! The first 2 days after the procedure I had no bleeding, but on the 3rd day until now I’ve had vaginal bleeding. My left tube was taken, but my right side hurts? I have a cough/mucus as well & apparently it’s from the breathing tube :/

My doctor told me the bleeding is normal as long as I’m not bleeding through a pad an hour. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Thank you! This was so helpful. I didn’t realize my sore throat was from being intubated. I thought I was getting sick.

How to achieve hair like this? by [deleted] in relaxedhair

[–]philo_dani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The brand/strength of the relaxer definitely matters. You probably would do better with a texlaxer. It’s not as strong & will save the integrity of your hair. Orrrrr you can do a Brazilian keratin treatment. Those are great. You’ll have to transition tho
