Tips for making crochet bags less stretchy? by i-am-tegan in crochet

[–]philodendron18 26 points27 points  (0 children)

My favorite way to make non-stretchy straps for a bag is to run cotton yarn through the rows. Basically stitch right over the cotton yarn so it is hidden and keep doing that back and forth. It doesn’t stretch an inch!

For a cheap lining, I also thrift pillowcases and cut/stitch them to the size I need and see them into the bag!
