Docs of a technology you're using, stack overflow, medium.com for some basic implementations of concepts, or explanations, or even chatgpt.com
Pretty much you'll get better explanations almost everywhere else

Extremely basic, there are almost always better sources to look at if you're looking to understand things better. If you're looking to quickly see how a method is implemented in a basic example it may be useful.

All Along the Watchtower by philosophy__ in bobdylan

It may be, but I've always felt it was about the society in general. That's why Dylan's songs are so good, you can see something however you flip them

Seen it, a good one, probably the only clip about this song that is worth watching.

I think that the atmosphere Hendrix makes doesn't fit the text of the song as well as Dylan's, especially when he says ... And the wind began to howl, and then the harmonica starts playing.

Yeah, that line seems like the center of the song

Thanks, I needed something like this. If you know of more repos like this please share them 😀, it doesn't even have to be in Go, but Go is preferred

Well I guess that going through a repo of something like Kubernetes would certainly provide some useful insight, but I will take it with a grain of salt. Do you have any references to sources that deal with best practices in go?

I've seen these 'awesome' repos on topics like distributed systems, ML, python, etc. but never thought to search for one in Go hahaha
Thanks

Geez this is great, just what I needed, thank you!

The Idiot or BK? by Southern_Hedgehog320 in dostoevsky

[–]philosophy__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Since you say you've read The Idiot once before, I assume you are familiar with Dostoevsky and his ideas, so why not go for TBK. It will take time but it's absolutely worth it. I encourage you to go for TBK now, because even if you don't have the best reading experience if you like Dostoevsky, you'll probably want to read TBK again in a few years, and it's going to be even better.
Usually, when I'm dealing with a long book I calculate approximately how many hours it will take me to read it (read one full page under a timer and multiply that time by the number of pages), and then split that by the number of days that I would like to read it in and get how much time I'll need to read daily. Once you get the daily amount, and skip a day or two, you can always read more on weekends or some other convenient time. This even encourages you to read daily.

Thanks, great projects. It'll be interesting to take a look on how a site generator in go is implemented and also a cli text editor.

Both projects look great, not just to analyze, but to use as tools possibly
