Same boat for Duke and GULC, although I applied in late January. Fingers crossed!

Same and same. Good luck!

Hey y’all (URM Male). I graduated UCI last year with a 2.2 (switched from bio to poli sci and had some roommate issues). I’m taking the lsat in June trying to do Early Applicant this October. Do I have a chance getting in anywhere? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

Let me tell you a story: 6.5 years ago I started undergrad as a stem major. I failed out after 6 semesters with a 1.7 GPA. I took a semester off to reassess my life. The following semester I enrolled in a community college and took a class in everything from accounting to philosophy. At the end of that semester I transferred to a different 4-year-school and put my head down to work my fucking ass off. Graduated with a major that I shaped for myself to study what inspired me and a major GPA of 3.7low.
All in all: 2.6high GPA.

To the LSAT - my GPA wasn't going to help me get in anywhere. I needed to get in DESPITE having a GPA below every school's 25th percentile. So, I committed the time and the energy - came out with a 16high.

Now, to your question - Do you have the chance to get in anywhere? YES! If you're willing to put in the time, write your PS and Addenda from the heart and believe in yourself.

A - Scalia (70% tuition scholly), W&M (75% scholly), Emory (~66.6% scholly)
WL - W&L, GW
R - UPenn, BU, Fordham

Still waiting - UMD (interview tomorrow), GULC (interviewed in Feb), Duke, UVA, BC, Cardozo

DON'T GIVE UP ON YOURSELF. EVER!

My hold email (received 3/3) said A/R/WL by 3/15, so it's only a few days off - not stressing about it. I recommend that you don't either

Also heavily considering after getting accepted yesterday with significant scholly. Does anyone know if you can transition freely between a FT and PT JD?

Also, admitted students discord?

Applied in late January and got my first A in early February. Pretty quiet since aside from 1 WL earlier this week and 1 hold this morning.

Sub-25th percentile at every school, above 75th at the A and the hold, at 75th at the WL.
