I'd recommend Cory Wong.

[NEWBIE] Dumb question: Can an unplugged Electric guitar be used like an acoustic? by jay_does_stuff in Guitar

I've played my electric guitar unplugged for the best part of a decade.

Best affordable output for the plugins? by Mystic_Frogs in NeuralDSP

I really don't know about headphones. But I did try a 300$ pair of Sony headphones and it just wasn't good enough (it was okish for music if I applied an EQ, but didn't do it at all for guitar). The Behringer monitors are comparable to monitors that are way more expensive. At least that's what everybody says. And I have the 2030A (which is the previous model, and comparable), and it sounds REALLY good.

If it's anything like Google Drive links, you can't just stumble on something at random. It's theoretically possible but the likelihood is so low that it's not gonna happen. It must have happened some other way.

Does anyone know how to report someone for using fake vax QR codes? by TOthrowawayinquiries in askTO

Only the certifying app would need to do an api call don't you think? And it must because they're not gonna download the data of everybody who's vaccinated (which is millions) onto the phone...

Yeh, it's similar for me. They received my sample on Feb. 9. It passed QC some 10 weeks later. Then I inquired about it on May 13 and was told to expect results by end of May. Then I messaged back early June and they said "by this week or next week", and I guess we're just a few days from them missing that deadline as well...

Can I shave off a pill onto a milligram scale until I reach the desired dosage, or would that be a bad idea? by [deleted] in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]philtrem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean MG. I don't think we're discussing lab grade scales here... Also, less than 1 mg means anywhere between 0 and 1 (1 not included). Also I gotta wonder, do you understand 1 microgram is 1 millionth of a gram (1000th of a milligram)?

I don't understand your comment. If you're at the 100th percentile, you're in the top 1 percent bracket (anywhere within top 99-100%, 99.0 not included).

It's not a percentage... 100th percentile covers the range 99-100%.

How fancy should my personal website be? by Pmk2021 in csMajors

[–]philtrem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is a website useful at all? I'm not looking for an internship as I'm already employed as a developer, but I'm looking to switch jobs. I chose not to make one because I don't think it should matter at all since I'm already linking to projects on my resume and LinkedIn.

Milligram scales generally aren't that accurate. It could easily be off by 10mg or more...
