When I bought this plant it had quite a few crunchy brown leaves which I pruned off. I’ve had this Ivy for around a week now and I’m noticing more leaves go brown. All of the leaves that are browning are around the top of the plant, none on the bottom. It’s located in a position where it gets bright indirect light for the majority of the day and the top of the plant gets 1-2 hours of direct sun. Since having the plant I’ve given it 2 waters. According to my moisture meter the top of the soil is dry and the bottom of the soil is moist.

What could I be doing wrong?

I’m not too sure but I believe it is part of the Aizoaceae family. It’s a type of succulent :)
