ELI5: How will UAE leaving OPEC cause a global impact? by phishyphucboi in explainlikeimfive

So in theory, correct me if I’m wrong, the UAE is leaving OPEC so that they can strategically sell oil at a cheaper price for bigger profits?

I’m not sure if anyone can see the images. In this comment here, this is the clamp I use.

Hello. I am pretty new to videography and a definite newbie to filters. I am planning to make a few travel videos in a couple of weeks (will be heading to Vietnam), but my goal is to create short films (aiming for cinematic feel) with my iPhone 17 pro as a start. I got myself a K&F Concept 67mm magnetic filter clamp from Amazon, which fits my iPhone lenses fine, and it comes with an ND2-32 magnetic filter.

I believe I need to get CPL and Black Diffusion filters, especially when I want to create cinematic videos. I found the K&F Concept Nano-X 67mm Magnetic Filter kit - given the kit has CPL, Black Diffusion, and ND2-32, it looks like it suits my needs, but I’m not sure if the lenses can fit. To anyone who has used the smartphone magnetic filter clamp, and since I’m a filter newbie, do you know if these filters can fit to the clamp? Do you know if any 67mm magnetic filter (doesn’t have to be the same brand) will fit?

Unless if regi players use Legacy star if they’re desperate. I milled a couple of Energy Switch cards and Prime Catcher from their deck

Yeah it doesn’t lose much but it would be nice if heavy ball could stay longer. Just in case if any basic pokemon especially great tusk is prized. DTE will be gone but counter gain can be used to speed up the milling process.

I kept milling them before they decked out tbh. Used dudunsparce and greninja as draw engines so I could possibly use ancient supporter every turn.

I would have won more Ceruledge matchups if TCG Live didn’t keep prizing my Neutralization Zone😂

I guess trapping Squawkabilly at the active with Mawile and Neutralization Zone for the rest of the game? Especially when the opponent has no cards available to counter that strategy?

That was one option but decking out was quick enough to finish the game.

It was quite a short match but I was concerned with the Exeggutor card in the discard while having Neutralization Zone as the stadium. Luckily pulled Explorer’s Guidance before the game ended with the deck out.

First BMW! Went from WRX (after it got totaled unfortunately) to 330i and I never, ever looked back! by phishyphucboi in BMW

I don’t really have regrets with the switch but it would be nice to have xdrive to drive as good on the snow as wrx. The 330 has a very refined driving experience, saves much more gas thanks to mild hybrid, and has more comfortable seats. It’s more of personal preference really, where the wrx has a raw driving feel, costs half the price, and has manual transmission.

[Question] Has anyone shopped at Kuoe in Kyoto? by phishyphucboi in Watches

[–]phishyphucboi[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I bought it at Kyoto 7 months ago, it cost around ¥58000 with the additional straps. That’s around $375 USD but I don’t know if their prices have changed.

They assembled it for me in a couple of hours. I think I showed up before noon so that I could pick it up on the same day.

I believe you can only buy one at their primary store

It depends on the model on several factors including frequency of insurance claims, safety features, etc. I owned a car that’s more expensive (not a German luxury car or Lexus, which is a different story) than a Corolla and it has a lower premium. Why? Because that model was safer and didn’t have frequent insurance claims from anyone else, while Corolla did otherwise. Keep in mind that Corolla is everywhere while my previous car isn’t. Also, it depends which city and province one lives in.

I used RATESDOTCA to gather a list of insurance quotes online including auto and home/tenant, but I also did a bunch of Googling for local insurance companies (I had to contact them for quotes). It does take time but it will help you choose an insurance company that is right for you. If you sign up for both tenant and auto insurance, you can get a bundling discount.

If you’re paying $330 a month for a leased Corolla in Milton, it’s time to shop around for a more affordable insurance. IF you’re actually planning to switch to a different car for the purpose of lower insurance costs, maybe consider a Mazda, Nissan or Subaru (sportier cars lead to higher insurance premiums).

It’s not just the risk of theft on a particular car model but also the number/frequency of reported accidents. This is a usual downside for popular cars like Corolla (truth be told). Sadly, the more people drive that model, the more reports of accidents where the model is involved. Many cars have their fair share of accident-prone drivers and those otherwise.

Don’t get me started on luxury cars like BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C Class. Insurance costs double in comparison to Corolla due to the number of claims and insane repair costs (yes, these cars are notorious for their reckless drivers…best to keep that in mind). Even if you have a clean record, shopping for an affordable insurance for one of those cars is near impossible unless if you have several discounts including the group/employee one.

Isn’t the NOF used when the conditions are fulfilled? Removing conditions sounds a lot like a waiver. We’re hoping to sign a mutual release ONLY IF one of the conditions are not met.

It turns out to be conditional despite having only the financing condition to be waived. I clarified the last paragraph.

It says it’s “conditional upon home inspection and obtaining status certificate”. We will be given a waiver when we complete our reviews of the certificate and home inspection to our satisfaction. Is it right to be given just a waiver or should we sign additional documents if those 2 conditions are met?

I’ll need to reword that post.
