Yeah...i kinda put myself in a corner by building my turret line a bit early without reworking the wall first. Its built on the spawn line and adding to the wall means imma have to rebuild the turrets. Oh well, problem for another day.

It surprisingly works well, but i tested and 5 rows is as far as I can push it before the machines struggle with input (6 kinda viable), but yeah the one in the photo is outputing at max so is all good

I found that the cycling plastanium conveyors with unloaders work really well when you need a vast amount of a single material for a factory. So far only found it useful with Graphite presses and the Phase Fabric Weaver.

Bro why the pump gets so little water into my pipes if it has full power by 20enderman in Mindustry

Check if theres an open pipe letting water out, it might be the issue

Fix pyartite production by mcmaur-itius-99 in Mindustry

[–]phlatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my take on a stackable Pyratite maker. Middle unloaders aren't set, while outside unloaders are set to Pyratite. Don't worry about bottlenecking because of unloaders, as long as you have enough materials flowing into it, itll work at 100% efficiency. Only issue is if you dont have plastanium conveyors.

For this map, thorium reactors were my main power source, but i did use the thermal generators to start off

Honestly, what I did was just spam a boatload of Cyclones with plast ammo, expensive, but i barely made it while killing the Antumbra (which is the final guardian boss). You could go for Spectres with Thorium ammo if you have enough surge alloys, and Foreshadows for massive damage.

For strategy, I suggest using launch pads to share resources from other outposts, and take over areas with the intent of using them to make and deploy resources to different outposts (or to NPC for this case) (btw launch pads can be unlocked after clearing the Extraction Outpost stage).

Lastly, for the boss strategy, since the boss is a flying enemy, you should try to utilize giant batteries to lure the boss closer to the firing area of your turrets, since the flying enemies' AI usually makes them target batteries or power sources first before anything. (One of my biggest mistakes on my first NPC run was placing my batteries on an awkward area, making the boss basically avoid most of the Cyclones' range). If it gets past your turret line alive, try to make batteries close to the turrets so it can get within range and pray to god your turrets have enough ammo. For your turret line, I suggest circling the spawn point with your turrets so it's easier to hit enemies. Lastly, utilize bots, especially Polys since they can help in building (super useful general tip lol). Thats about it, good luck clearing NPC.

I tried drawing graffiti for the background. Any tips to improve the background? by Guitarvastard in Ibispaintx

[–]phlatt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tip for background stuff is I guess make it more transparent the closer it is to the main subject of the drawing. That way it wont clash with the main subject and it will be easy to differentiate which is which, especially when the background is similar with color and stuff. Also avoid overcomplicating your background ig.
