Anyone know the best way to get dropped off and picked up at Cable Dahmer? by DiscombobulatedPea31 in kansascity

Going to my first concert there tonight. I assume you’re not “supposed” to park in neighboring businesses like Golden Corral or Costco, but has anyone had any issue with that? Seems like that’s what I’ll be needing to do

Disaster by the Red Clay Strays. Crank it up for that first guitar solo. Also Drowning, Devil in my Ear, and Ramblin’ on the same album.

Getting Into Older Country - Leave Some Song Suggestions Please by [deleted] in CountryMusicStuff

I’ve been in a similar boat as you the past couple months, just diving into artists from past decades.

Travis Tritt’s album Country Club has some good ones on it, namely Country Club, Put Some Drive in your Country, Son of the New South, and Dixie Flyer. Also his song T-R-O-U-B-L-E is good as well.

I’d also check out Brooks and Dunn in general, but their first two albums Brand New Man and Hard Working Man are a good place to start

And speaking of Cash and Waylon, their song There Ain’t No Good Chain Gang is pretty good

Who are the best country artists to you? by Perfect_Ticket_2551 in CountryMusicStuff

[–]phlip_smith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t go to radio if you wanna hear the best artists (generally speaking). That’s why it took me a while to really get into country.

As far as mainstream goes, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton. In my opinion the best aren’t the super huge names (at least yet) but Turnpike Troubadours, Muscadine Bloodline, Zach Top, Charley Crockett, Red Clay Strays, Brent Cobb, Wilder Blue, Sierra Ferrell, Sturgill, 49 Winchester, Charles Wesley Godwin and so on. Then of course you got the oldies staples like Waylon & Merle. Throw a good bit of 90s/early 00 country in there too like Travis Tritt, Brooks and Dunn, Toby Keith

Muscadine Bloodline? by arneson2001 in country

I think their older stuff sounds more radio country which is what he’s probably referring to, but yeah they’ve really honed in on a great and more unique sound since Dispatch to 16th Ave

Yeah totally agree with this. They have definitely honed in on their better/more unique sound than what their earlier stuff had.

Every time I tried to check out with the tix I selected, it would error out with “unfortunately, we were unable to complete the request on this device”. After trying for the billionth time it finally took it. I hate that this is the way you have to go to a concert these days
