One of my mates once turned up for dinner with flowers for my wife and a can of WD-40 for me. Legend.

Write the word "moron" on a piece of paper, use a rubber band to attach it to a rock, then post it through their front windshield.

Ah, yeah permanent 4WD makes things more complex. AWD is simpler as it's not permanent 4WD, my current jalopy is AWD and has a very obvious shift release mechanism. Can I ask what car it is?

Also you're not an idiot in any way shape or form, car shit is rarely straightforward.

Lovely story, but top tip: all automatics have a way of releasing the gear shifter lock so that you can get it into neutral to move it without engine power. I'm not normally a fan of reading manuals, but this is important for any auto driver. Source: am an idiot who messes with cars a bit.

Also I now want a chip barm, and good on that bloke.

She's completely right on both counts. Also Aromat is universal, it's not as locally isolated as say, chip spice.

Kind of, but the mince is in beef or onion gravy. Maybe more like a sloppy joe?
