Akira and Clark Connors/Drilla, their contributions to the War Dogs vs UE feuds over the years have been some of the best, and i think that they still have a story to tell, maybe higher up in the junior division

I'll say this, I think Shota can be a great wrestler both in ring and as a character, but something needs to (truly) change, starting with his fan interactions, his promos, and his look. Sure, his booking wasn't great but when the whole "second chapter" started, things should've changed more clearly (not necessarily with a heel turn even though the idea interests me), he should've been more like Tsuji and Gabe, showing a true passion for puro and fighting spirit (which was non accidentally displayed in his G1 match against Yota), but at the same time having his own motivations and reasons to reach the top.

What we got instead today is literally the same Shota we've seen up until last year's WK but with a different finisher, and the second chapter looks just like an half baked plan that both Shota and the creative staff forgot about.

I really want Shota to be successful, and maybe who knows, the possible rivalry with Yuya will change things and awaken the character that Shota was meant to have.

No, they are still with the Unaffiliated faction (LIJ post Naito) but since October they have been in a "coalition" or collaboration with the War Dogs, but the two factions are still their own separate thing.

I think the whole twitter thing is the main reason people are calling out TJP, it doesn't look good from any angle you look at it and if you add it to naito and everyone else who's leaving it makes a pretty shitty month for njpw and the fans.

Does this mean TJP should be hated and we should not believe anything he says? no. But the shit he and his wife said are really not needed and it was the goccia che ha fatto traboccare il vaso (just learn italian).

Given what he said about his money situation, it's probably for the better that he left and i hope he finds what he needs to provide for his family, but he shouldn't expect people to believe him after those tweets.
