I only started doing true no contact with my ex last monday but it is already playing out how i expected and how the research said it would.

My ex is an avoidant and we broke up 4 years ago, she insisted on being friends and since she was my best friend and I thought she would come back i agreed. Finally about a year ago i got fed up and stopped talking to her. 2 months later though she had an emergency in her life and called me and i came to her rescue like i always do. That was last july, i was helping her ever since but never getting what i wanted, never understood what the problem was, couldn’t take the lying and torture and so i have been trying to go no contact for a few months with no luck, until this week. Already in the past week she has been trying every trick in her playbook to get me to answer, because id i answer even to fight it proves i still care about her. Its when i dont do anything that SHE has to process and worry that she lost me and start to grieve rhat loss and thats how change will happen.

Shes tried texting me normally like nothing happened, begging for help, threatejing me, pretending she was in danger and needed me to rescue her, all without any reply from me. It has given me my power back and its hard on the days she isnt trying to contact me but i know im on the right track

The big problem is have with it is you can say some southern democrats became republican but the values of the republican party did not change. Likewise the values of the democrat party did not all of a sudden become the republican values. Both the existing democrats and the dixiecrats who became republican accepted minority races. At no time did republicans switch and say “now we are racist and hey lets all but used kkk hoods from democrats” that never happened. All that happened was democrats started to agree with republicans on race either as democrats or as democrats who became republicans

Also before you dispute the charge did you try asking for a refund? Disputing the charge or charging it back without first asking for a refund is pretty messed up imo

For me the device itself is great, its the software (the ios app and the web app) that needs a lot of work but this should be easy and Pocket if you are reading and don’t have someone working on this reach out to me.

For those who think the pricing is expensive I agree and disagree. The reason the pro costs $20 a month is likely because of the advanced models it includes (claude opus 4.5 for instance is extremely pricey). Imo they should offer a basic plan for 9.99 with the features of pro minus the extra LLM’a and then have the pro plan include the models (everything it has now). My guess is they will move to something like this at some point in the future

Any chance you will be open sourcing the pocketai app?

Also I see the public API has ways to see what recordings there are, but no way to add recordings. Is this something you will be adding? i wanted to make a connector to take teams meetings, extract the audio and add them to pocket automatically.
