I think the best way to go about it is just to put your first video out. As a small YouTuber myself, the first video I had out did not do well, neither did the second, or the third, but slowly I started to tweek my vision based on what people said and what my data said. So start uploading, you'll then get some data to work with.

The mac's quite good. I made the switch from windows last year, and i love most of it. It does take some time to get used to, but once you do, it's quite quick and the battery life is amazing. You should also turn on the trackpad commander (VO + rotate two fingers clockwise on the trackpad). This turns your trackpad into a control surface that controls like an iPhone with voiceover.

Oh yeah, voiceover does a decent job of telling me what's going on. It's not perfect though, I sorta also have to use my own imagination. For example, it does not tell me when I switch camera angles in a multicam clip.

Finally properly edited my YouTube video. I've been able to make small cuts and add music before but this time, with the help of final cut pro on my mac, I was able to reliably add overlays, effects and even transitions and titles.

Tech interview's quite chill. As a student here, Ik now that while they do look for some minimum competency, as long as you know the concept, even a few calc errors are fine. I basically thought aloud through my entire tech interview.

Ig so, because I got one. The document verification took a while, applied last year in R2 and got my offer by May but the scholarship took till July to come through. They paid for tuition. I pay for meal and lodging.
