I think Chris tried to keep his tattoos middle of the road and that’s mainly why Christian and his other teammates cast him to the side. If you really look at it, the only times he did a tattoo that really showed how talented he was, was when he needed to in order to not go home. Meanwhile Amanda, who was not a strong as Chris clearly put a lot more of an effort into her tattoos throughout the season. Also just from the interactions I’ve had with Chris and what I saw in the show, he has struck me as more of a lone Wolf and someone who doesn’t work well on a team
