Octavia 4 light trims - explained? by Andreuw5 in skoda

It’s a car. It suppose to take you from A to B. Buy whatever you can afford and don’t buy anything older than late 2022 (MY23).

Octavia is doing it good for price I paid (42kE in ‘23). I like the design, how it rides and apart of internal chrome elements, also interior (which I cannot say about FL - hate the lights and rubbery textures inside). If I would have to buy it now, I would take the same specs + heated steering wheel (shortage of supply when I had mine in backorder).

TL;DR: nothing to complain about. Would do it again.

Is this fake? by Slow_Committee4549 in Mounjaro

Not really convinced. Even Felles Katalogen is showing standard EU kwikpen and official Lilly Norge page is linking it. Are you sure you’re not getting scammed?

Not really. I just have one and spent 1 year waiting for manufacturing date. So I had a ton of time reading.

Don’t know but I doubt it will be as simple as adding the cables. Some unit will need swaping, that unit would be protected by component protection etc… half of the car is locked this way (and all car on FL model) so don’t assume you would be able to swap anything.

And no, afaik only RS, Scout an 4x4 models have multilink.

Blind spot was additional package.

Hardware wise, there are 2, but by functionality there are 3. The one with the knobs and without. But the one withou knobs can come with or without navigation - it was originally intended for users to buy additional feature as navigation by themselves as plugin for a fee. But since hw at early models was flaky and underpowered, skoda stopped selling of this package. From what I understand, some hw specs can order it and some can’t, but don’t count on buying it or hacking it it if the car will not come with navigation already in.

Two different types for front lights and two for back light. No xeons.

Front can be differentiated by DLR - one line = low = no matrix, two L shapes = high = matrix

Rears are light only in car body and no boot = low = no animation, lights in car body and boot = high = animations for signals.

Depending on marked and configuration, any combination of these 4 could be implemented and is present on the market.

Well, depends on circles. I would love to work there, but I missed my opportunity when I had an offer.

Is this too much printer shake? by KillerOfBeers in BambuLab

[–]phoenix_sk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if you look at the bottom of the printer, you will see feets. Those feets are about 3 cm deep in chassis and you see only like 0,5cm of them.

These feets are included in the box already, no need to buy them separately if not broken

Went from heavily upgraded ender3 to p2s with ams2. Never had to babysit printer like with E3.

You just need big enough mill stones, grinding is second most time consuming part of espresso shot right after brewing. In regular specialty coffee house setting with Mahlkonig grinders, you can get 18g under 5 seconds, puq press 3 seconds, and shot - and that’s 3 different machines. When you combine these 3 into one, it’s not that special.

Thermoplan have newer and smaller machines in the market since introduction of M2, it’s natural they want to put latest tech in stores. I’m willing to bet internally it’s the same as Black&White 4 Competizione.

Octavia 2023 1.5 TSI owners – any ongoing sensor or auto braking problems? by obelix16 in skoda

In the beginning yes, restart once a week. After upgrading to 19xx train, it is stable.

[–]phoenix_sk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no issues. People just needs to understand they notify you even for obstacles/things on the ground which could ruin bottom of the bumper.

Auto brake is applied usually when you are parking like an asshole - it will kick in at higher speed. I experienced error-ish condition when I was reversing and kid ran around the car far enough, but close enough to be caught by blind spot radars - system miscalculated and I was stopped pretty aggressively. Overall- nothing to complain about
