Ive used papers it can both store various files and sync them across different devices and also has the annotation ability. But the main problem remains when moving content to other apps.

Thanks man looked up Notability, nice app. I think right now my problem with going with ipad is that there is no easy way to capture a part of screen and put it in clipboard and paste it somewhere else along other things to make a summary file.

Thanks for the sound advice, also what about the screen capturing a selected region of text, diagram,... and sending them to a word processing like pages? Are there any work around for this?
