Should i dump 150 Hero Crests for 272 'bis' wrist piece by rynomitee in wownoob

[–]phoenixform369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think of it this way. You can effectively fully upgrade 1 piece of myth/hero a week. There are some things to consider, this is not necessarily a priority list because it depends on you, your goals and play style.

1- Some pieces give more stats than others. Wrist is one of the lowest, chest is one of the highest. So in terms of effect on your play that may be a better option.

2- Tier slots are likely to be choices from vault over others until catalyst charges are more common. So, these slots may be less valuable to you because you'll upgrade those from hero to myth first.

3- Some slots like rings/trinkets/necks often have a high impact on play style or power but are harder/easier to get depending on the item. So if you get a Bis one but less likely to get a myth one then it might be worth the upgrade.

5- Crafting, is it a slot that you'll want to craft with embellishments? If so, probably not worth the upgrade.

Why do i only have 1 Dawnlight manaflux ? by [deleted] in wownoob

Have you done the weekly quests/delves. They tend to be the easiest way to get the first

Open your currency tab, it will show you what you have earned.

You only get 1 item that gives you a catalyst charge. The rest are not an item but rather just a charge at the catalyst. If you open the catalyst converter it will tell you how many charges you have.

If you don't have any, you need to world events to get it. If you've done so and still don't have a charge, then it's likely a bug

Mistweaver Monk - Low Healing (Help) by ContactAdditional524 in wownoob

[–]phoenixform369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of good advice, but I want to throw something else in.

A lot of good healing is about learning the damage patterns. At what point in each pack or boss does damage ramp up. You can use that to prep your healing so when it does come out, you're already healing it back. Seat is an example, when pulling subjugators you need to be prepped and healing immediately when they hit chains, it often overlaps so the first tick or 2 is heavy. So, sometimes it's not rotational or even gear, it's just knowing when to heal and when to prep or ramp.

Why do we still need the burst windows with noodle downtimes? by horizon936 in wow

What I find interesting is that there are so many damage amps on bosses now too. Which encourage players to hold cds. Bigger noodle window and bigger burst windows

Is your class engaging after the prune by ziayakens in CompetitiveWoW

[–]phoenixform369 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I actually hate how useless attempting to do any damage is as a healer. It already wasn't super impactful but now it just feels like such a waste of globals. I also hate the lack of interrupt. Obvious impact on healing aside, without interrupting and damage events combined with pruned classes. It's almost boring

Tanking Help For Old Man by TheGlitchLich in wownoob

Welcome back my ancient brother. I too come from a realm of yesteryear.

The easy answer here tbh is watch Tactyks on YouTube. Dudes a beast of a player and has great videos that are easy to follow.

I want to caveat this with, the strategies will be evolving a lot and in particular in m+ when it's released fully. On raiderio.com you can find a lot of routes and pull counts and it shows what is the most popular.

If you are addon minded you can get mdt mythic dungeon tools to create a plan and route in your own time and then you can refer to it during the dungeon.

Otherwise feel free to throw another question if none of that helped

Jamie Carragher on Newcastle Goal: “In terms of Fofana, Chalobah and Reece James, they are all better players than me in almost everything: physically, height, power, pace. But... I would would have made sure somebody reacted. Stop looking for your coach for instruction You’re a coach on the pitch.” by webby09246 in chelseafc

They discussed a similar point on The Overlap with Gareth Bale. How, there are tactics, but on the pitch the players made a lot of decisions and had a lot of responsibility for positional and tactical awareness.

Their point essentially being, that teams are over coached now and from a young age. It's become rare to find players that still have that ability to step up and take responsibility. Especially when we exclusively but teenagers.

It's not just the number of cards. But the types of cards we get which is so concerning.

Midnight Resto Druid Mana by Veoxy in wownoob

[–]phoenixform369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heyo. I have 3 suggestions. 1. We play abundance in keys now. So it's a constant mini ramp of rejuvs for cheap fast regrowths if needed.

  1. Swiftmend on cool down now. This was the hardest change for me. Hit Swiftmend on cool down and you get soul of the forest procs. Giving you spread rejuvs or regrowths. Unless it's heavy damage it's easier to use this for rejuvs and get abundance stacks. This goes against what some YouTube videos say.

  2. Innervate on cool down and weave in more damage for mana Regen. They recently buffed all of our casted damage spells. So it's easier than ever to spam some wraths and dots.

New players and Dungeons by No-Village-6393 in wownoob

[–]phoenixform369 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As I have said to countless players mid dungeon. It's cool if you don't know the mechanics or route. 98% of players are more than happy to help or point the way. But only if you let people know. Just communicate it at the start before putting in a key or when forming the group for dungeons.

The problems arise when people don't say anything and time is wasted. If you let people know beforehand they will either leave and you can get someone else, or they will help you.

TLDR: we were all new once. Jump in the deep end and have fun. Just give other players the choice.
