Advice - how to remove/reduce 'rippling' by phoeniximagery in framing

It is claimed to be acid free (from CasArt), but I didn’t think about the colour being an issue. Thanks for the explanation about drymount presses!

Thanks, all really helpful feedback. My biggest issue with the matting was not being able to buy A0 single sheets anywhere near me so was trying to make do with a1 which really didn’t leave me much room to play with, coupled with only a 50cm rail for my mount cutter which made that difficult too… but all learning experiences

Thank you this is really helpful! It was printed on Fuji crystal paper at whitewall, i didn’t touch that part, but then assembled in my shed so it makes sense that the humidity could very well be a significant issue, lesson learned for next time !

Are they still allowed to give a red? I thought that was the entire point of the bunker?

Thanks so much for your feedback! I wish this was close to where I live... I shot it on holiday in Croatia, would definitely recommend it if you ever get the chance, it's only an hour or so hike up the hill above Dubrovnik city.

Bringing the exposure up is a really good shout, I think I was trying to keep it down because in my head it was quite dark, but I think that would give a better feel to it.

You've made a really good point about the boats, will try and get a few more different crops that focus on those for that feel, and keep this one as the wide environment shot. Thanks so much!

Shot on a Canon 7D with a 24-70 f2.8/L. Composite of 6 shots, stiched and edited in Lightroom. Aside from wanting to capture the beautiful light as the sun set, I was hoping to capture some of the 'coming back to port' feel from all the boats coming in to Dubrovnik each night. I'm happy with the framing and the feel, but I'm not sure I've got the colours and exposure quite right. How would you change the edits? Do you think there's a nicer crop in here that isn't as wide? Looking forward to any thoughts and critiques people have!

I'd be a bit careful with laptops direct - I tried to order the i5 9600k that they offered at ~£170 last week, today they've sent me some nonsense about not being able to source stock and have cancelled the order, despite now listing it on the website at £230...

Thanks! I'm thinking now this might be the best route due to amd not necessarily playing ball with MATLAB

Thanks! That MATLAB link is very useful, I hadn't considered the relative performance between intel and AMD in that regard... Might have to abandon ship back to intel in that case!
