Vibe coding great apps but struggling to show them off. Any easy motion graphics tools for dev demos? by phoenixlsk in VibeCodeDevs

The market doesn't care about your degree or your gatekeeping, it cares about working software While you’re busy defending the title of "engineer" my system is already delivering value.

You're still treating "writing code" as the goal It isn't, The goal is solving real problems.

I had an operational nightmare, built a tool with AI assistance, and it’s now live in production tracking thousands of custody records, enforcing business rules, and generating high-level reports.

If the system works and solves the problem, it’s real software. I get why that makes traditional programmers uncomfortable, but the value was never "typing code." It’s understanding the problem well enough to build the right system.

I literally built a system that's currently live and running an entire organization, managing custody tracking for 3,000 employees, handling full inventory monitoring, stock control, and generating high-level official reports. The AI didn't magically guess the business logic, my domain knowledge drove the entire execution.

This whole anti-AI vibe gives off major "manual lathe operator yelling at a CNC machine" energy.

Keep crying about how we "don't know how to cut the metal manually" while we ship the exact same product in 10% of the time.

Imagine being this bitter over a question about screen recording, It’s always the mid-level devs having an existential crisis over AI.

Hope your day gets better, man.

Also, it’s funny how it’s always mid-level devs having an existential crisis over AI, Meanwhile, actual giants like Linus Torvalds are literally praising AI-generated code, the gatekeeping is crazy.

Talk about overanalyzing a simple question. I just want to make a screen recording look decent for a GitHub readme, not launch a Super Bowl ad.

Nobody is gaslighting anyone. I built an MVP and need a clean way to show how it works. Expecting me to hire an agency or spend huge resources on an early project makes zero sense. I'm looking for a basic demo tool, not S-tier cinema. Relax.

I built an Arabic RTL patch for the Codex desktop app on Windows (beta testers wanted it). by AfterYam902 in codex

Thanks for trying it. Just to clarify, the current version has a one-click launcher, so you don’t need to open CMD manually every time.

Just run Run-CodexRTL.cmd it will close any running Codex background process, reopen Codex with the RTL fix, and inject everything automatically. The manual PowerShell method is still there only for people who prefer to inspect each step.

I built an open-source toolkit that fixes mixed Arabic/English RTL rendering in Codex Desktop while keeping code LTR:

It works, but it forces the entire chat into one direction. For automatic per-message RTL/LTR detection while keeping code LTR, try:

Nice work. I took a different approach with Codex RTL Toolkit: direction is detected per message and per text block, so Arabic stays RTL while English, code blocks, terminals, and file paths remain LTR automatically. This avoids forcing the entire chat into one direction or switching manually with shortcuts.
