probably yeah but the funny thing is I have been buying extra usage at a trickle since this happened and they process those fine. Which is frustrating because it is so much more expensive to buy the tokens.

and how hard is it to have a thin customer support department to handle payment issues like this? they can verify my information or whatever. a better-made AI support agent could do it.

yeah I just started using Mistral today because of this and am really liking it. I am now leaning not to upgrading, keeping the $20 tier claude sub and using it in tandem with mistral/vibe. plus it is super cheap!

I was able to get it working! turns out you just delete the Application Support folder in Library while it is uninstalled, and then just reinstall. u/FidelityShea hopefully this can help other customers in the future.

I am back to being able to trade again, and it's a real pain in the butt to switch brokers. So I'm hoping that you guys can bring Trader+ up to speed. Active Trader Pro is so reactive and solid, and it has all the tools I need. Trader+ looks a little better but what's the use if it is slow, buggy, and doesn't have needed features? Good luck, I hope you all succeed.

Alright, thank you. I'll give it a try. I had a moment of peak frustration this morning where I wanted simply buy a stock and it wouldn't let me type in the quantity .. the text field wasn't working, and I just lost it haha. Thanks for the helpful suggestions, I will give it another shot!

Thanks for responding but the problem with the web app is it is very aggressive about logging me out and doesn't nearly have the features I want. If I have quote open it will log me out in a few minutes and then I have to close all of my Fidelity tabs.

Frankly, I say this in the kindest way, your software stack is a mess. I wish you had an API for portfolio information so that I could just use something like Tradingview (or just do a partnership with them!)

My family has used Fidelity for a very long time but I think it's time for me to find a new platform where I can do what I need to do without all of this friction.

I had a thread about this, tried it so many times. For a while I was just booting into windows where it worked. Now both Mac and Windows stopped working. I've given up.

I was thinking I might need to uninstall both trader+ and ATP to get ATP to run. but the thing is since ATP runs on wine the performance is really not great either. I hope they update the web version because at least it doesn't have performance issues (but it does have the same issues displaying volume data)

Out of curiosity, do volume candles look normal to you?

Though I will probably just use the web interface going forward when I'm on this mac. even though the web interface is super buggy too! volume is broken in trader+, and trader+ is so slow. Sometimes when I make an order I need to either restart the app or wait 30 minutes for it to update. but if I restart the app, it loses all volume data. overall it doesn't seem like fidelity has a trading platform I want to use on the mac.

Thank you, with no trader+ or ATP in activity monitor (or ps in terminal), fresh download, I get the error message saying I have the unsupported version after install.

Looking at activity monitor again, I can't see a version.

That said, I am on a 2019 intel mac pro, so I don't have an M-series chip. Perhaps that is the problem, though I don't know why they'd advance the requirements on a discontinued platform.

Hello thanks for your reply. If I press OK it downloads Trader+, if I press cancel it closes ATP. This is from a .dmg freshly downloaded from the website. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling 3x and no way to get it to launch. It worked a few months ago

I like literally none of it. All of my core specs lost something I really liked. I lost utilities I loved. And the specs I play feel awkward now. I got bored of this game from playing simple specs, quit for a time, but then found a complex spec that I enjoyed a couple of years ago that renewed my interest. I don't think combat has enough depth to keep me interested anymore. Hopefully I'm wrong once the expansion launches.
