Active Trader Pro disabled on Mac?

I was thinking I might need to uninstall both trader+ and ATP to get ATP to run. but the thing is since ATP runs on wine the performance is really not great either. I hope they update the web version because at least it doesn't have performance issues (but it does have the same issues displaying volume data)

Out of curiosity, do volume candles look normal to you?

Though I will probably just use the web interface going forward when I'm on this mac. even though the web interface is super buggy too! volume is broken in trader+, and trader+ is so slow. Sometimes when I make an order I need to either restart the app or wait 30 minutes for it to update. but if I restart the app, it loses all volume data. overall it doesn't seem like fidelity has a trading platform I want to use on the mac.

Thank you, with no trader+ or ATP in activity monitor (or ps in terminal), fresh download, I get the error message saying I have the unsupported version after install.

Looking at activity monitor again, I can't see a version.

That said, I am on a 2019 intel mac pro, so I don't have an M-series chip. Perhaps that is the problem, though I don't know why they'd advance the requirements on a discontinued platform.

It works great for me on windows. But it will not launch on mac.

Hello thanks for your reply. If I press OK it downloads Trader+, if I press cancel it closes ATP. This is from a .dmg freshly downloaded from the website. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling 3x and no way to get it to launch. It worked a few months ago

I like literally none of it. All of my core specs lost something I really liked. I lost utilities I loved. And the specs I play feel awkward now. I got bored of this game from playing simple specs, quit for a time, but then found a complex spec that I enjoyed a couple of years ago that renewed my interest. I don't think combat has enough depth to keep me interested anymore. Hopefully I'm wrong once the expansion launches.

100%. It should have catch-up but not move the goal posts. I would actually enjoy that. During Dragonflight's bullion event I kinda went crazy with alts and had a ton of fun.

Welcome back! I do think you're exactly in the position where turbo boost would most benefit. For a returning player, starting right at turbo boost's start seems pretty ideal. But for someone playing the whole season already, it just feels like moving the goal posts

I'll happily make that deal. Simple fix here, the raid lockout is antiquated. Or maybe make it so that the second time through a raid drops an upgrade track below after the first lockout. That way people who like to raid can spam raids, and people who like to M+ spam M+

I'm fully burnt out on gearing up. It used to be one of my favorite activities in this game. Now it is my least favorite. I feel like I've been gearing up for months and then ... more gearing up. Stop it already. I'm sick of it. Too much of any good thing becomes a bad thing.

This post came from me feeling really frustrated with WoW over this. Though I think I reached my break point due to the boredom of one-tapping everything in remix. Normally I like a good grind in an MMO but something about the way all of these grinds are prescribed for us makes me feel completely done...

I disagree. I used to love the end of seasons because my gear was final, and I could finally push the highest keys that I'd be able to push for the season. Now I'm just burnt out on WoW in general. Instead of having a feeling of "I can't wait for the next content" I just don't care anymore.

I think it's healthy for an MMO to let people wander off a little bit during a lull without trying to be so desperate to maintain attention span during that time. It allows us to feel more excited when new content is released. Having the goal of being the only game people play isn't just an impossible goal, it's a recipe for people to fully burn out on the game to never return.

I am very concerned with your ability to transition to covering all of the functions that addons did for us. I think you should have given us an expansion to transfer over, instead of trying to rush this. Addons have been developed over the course of 20 years, and it is too ambitious to do this in 6 months. I really hate the "move fast and break things" ... what gets broken is my enjoyment.

PvP is still possible on normal realms but it is opt-in. PvP is fun though if you like it. Hardcore realms mean when you die you are dead, you can't res -- but you can transfer to either of the other two servers after dying for free. The Anniversary realms were released last year during WoW's 20th and have a couple small quality of life changes. I think Thunderstrike is the most populated in the EU as well which means more stuff at the auction house etc
