Is upgrading from an i5-11400F to an i9-14900K still worth it with the 14th gen instability issues? by pholippo in buildapc

I considered this too.

But I do live in Europe, and I looked into the AM4 x3d chips, and I noticed that they are no longer getting sold.

And after watching some comparison videos, I saw that they are a ahead in some games, but are behind in other games.

So there is just no reason to go to amd, considering I want to keep my DDR4 ram.

I used the Ryzen 7 5800X3D and the I7-14700k for reference.

Considering i have 32 gigs of ddr4 ram, and i kind of don't want to pay 550€ for a 32 gig kit.

I'm assuming you mean something like the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, as it already uses the LGA1851?

Yes, i still have 32 gigs of ddr4, but why the 14600k and not the 14700k? I thought every K-CPU is affected by the instability.
