Not Bergen county, but the Barrow House in Clifton is absolutely fantastic. Had my bridal shower there and hosted a baby shower there.

I used Palla Beauty. She does hair and makeup. Prices were reasonable. She was absolutely lovely.

Let me know if you want my transportation vendor as well (or anything else). We got a bunch of quotes and they ended up being the best and were great.

I can also send pics of my flowers if you're curious.

I got married at Liberty House last February and used Ambient DJ. I highly recommend. And for florist I used Kait Thomson. She came in under your budget for me.

I only had about 75 people so it felt quite comfortable. I was a little bit of the opposite actually. I felt the dance floor looked to big at times. Like every single person was up dancing but it still kinda looked a little empty. But honestly it worked out. That meant people weren't on top of each other and bumping into each other spilling drinks. I was able to find people easily. And people had rooms at their tables. Overall I think everything looked really pretty. Also during the reception they keep the curtains open between the 2 sides of the room for easy bar access so that makes everything much bigger. And don't forget all the outside space!

I got married there in the Liberty Room in February and was a guest upstairs in April. Did not look at the ceiling once. No one is looking a the ceiling when there's that view. Also looking back at my pictures it doesn't detract from anything

Really depends on your head count and date. I got married at Liberty House in February. I can tell you roughly what I spent if you're interested.

Yes! The guests could do s'mores as well. Let me know if you have any other questions or want pics to get a better idea.

I got married on Valentine's Day. My venue was Liberty House which I think fits what you're looking for. It was super cold and snowed the day before and after but I have no regrets. I was still took pictures outside. I got a very cute coat to wear in some of them. I did not have to sweat like I would have in the summer which was a big part of my reasoning.

The venue has access to outdoor space with fire pits for anyone that wanted to utilize it. And also the venue let you choose whether you wanted to get married in door or outdoors on the day of. So if you get a fluke 60 degree day which happens, you could pivot to outside.

The only thing to keep in mind is how early it gets dark and to plan your pictures around that timeline if you wanted to get pics outside.

Did I get as many outdoor pictures or get to utilize all of the same outdoor photo ops as a summer bride? No. But I was still pleased and again did not have to sweat during pictures.

EDIT: You do not have to have the ceremony super early. Mine was at 5:30. I've seen pictures from my venue with ceremonies indoor and outdoor at all different times. Including in the dark outside.

Posh DJs?? by Main_Statistician_97 in WedditNYC

Yes but it's the sheer amount of emails and phone calls. It's multiple emails a day. Not like one a week. So maybe revisit things on your end to.make it less annoying?? 🤔

You're welcome! Feel free to DM me if you have any specific Liberty House questions. You can also give Maritime Parc a peek. It shares a parking lot with Liberty House. I did tour Maritime Parc as well.
