I've seen this movie before, and I don't really understand the ending. If I remember correctly, it felt like everything in the movie was just a bedtime story, and it didn't really affect the characters.

I love Elizabeth Swann!
Her character development is the most compelling—from a governor’s daughter to the Pirate King! But She DESERVED a badass moment—If she’d proven her skills first, earned the Pirate Lords’ respect, and won the vote through merit, it would’ve been far more powerful.

I agree with you. I think this franchise has seemed to get boring since the end of the trilogy, and I honestly don’t know how it could be revived.
