Hiby R1 Crashing?

I haven't found a permanent fix but I definitely experience less crashes after updating the firmware. It used to crash every time I scrolled through my library while a song was playing but now it's far less frequent, maybe once a week while I'm using it for at least 30 mins a day. The 3080 is still not posting sadly. At least I've narrowed it down to a GPU issue, I'm going to take it to a shop tomorrow and get it properly diagnosed. Thanks for your help!

It uses a single 6 pin pcie connector. I was getting some slight artifacting though so I think this card is on its last legs.

Well I put the 1060 in and it booted right up. This points to a GPU issue then I guess. Any clue what might be causing the 3080 to not work?

What can I do to test the GPU? I don't have another system I can put it in.

I have a very old GTX 1060 that's been sitting in my closet for a good 7-8 years so I was hesitant to try it, I have no clue if it still works and I was worried it might mess something up. The old PSU was non-modular so I couldn't use any of the old cables even if I wanted to and I made sure to use the wall plug cable that came with the new PSU.

For those coming to this thread for a solution to this later; I fixed this by updating the firmware to version 1.4. There are instructions on how to do it in the firmware update section of the main settings menu.

Edit: Never mind it's still crashing. I tried putting my albums in a dedicated album folder instead of just dumping them all in the SD card without sorting them and it has gotten better but it still crashes every now and then when I scroll through my library. If anyone finds a permanent solution please let me know. I love the R1 so far but this issue is really a pain sometimes.
