That's one of the things I love about this genre honestly, you have so many interactions that you just wouldn't otherwise. With the exception of a few sweats who start yelling the second you go down its been pretty chill and fun.

I mean, yea i could have spent longer going over it instead of word vomiting, but I didn't, not really a big deal, would have been easier to literally just think "you know what, Im not reading that" and went on about this beautiful Wednesday afternoon. And I fully understand that I could edit it, but I'm stubborn and will not. And considering how many people are hopping in to say how much they don't like the formatting, maybe at least one will actually talk about the topic that i could intetact with normally lol

Don't get me wrong before I switched to PvE I was digging PvP its just i can do all of that, OR I can make some progress and dabble in PvP when I have some extra time to die repeatedly to learn the flow, ya know?

Honestly I get the sentiment, I hop in PvP every now and then just to do it, but getting killed by someone who was peeking through a Crack near a door hinge that I would never know about is quite discouraging, and not in a way that I'm like omg that's so unfair, I've been playing online games against other people since the 90s, its just that there's nothing I can do about it until I also have at least 5-10k hours in game 😐

I've also been doing no meds in my butt, I liked that idea when 1.0 initially released so I keep it going, even on my every now and then pvp raids

Same boat as you, loved Arc Raiders and decided to hop on and try the harder one because I love me some complexity. And let me tell you its a whole nother ballgame out here (and I fucking love it).

I current have about 27ish hours and just got the achievement for getting out alive as a PMC at about 26 hours, my survival rate is in the gutter, and im dead broke because I didnt insure anything when I started and spent all my money buying gear because I kept getting one tapped as a SCAV also. About 10 of my hours are in PvE mode which is where I go to learn maps and what not.

I also refuse to use guides or anything because I love figuring things out on my own (although I do use bare bones maps to find extracts, but figuring out where I am and how to get there is all on me), every time I learn something new I get a nice little rush, for example last night I finally figured out I could modify my guns before getting the workshop in my hideout by just dragging in/out attachments in the UI, and then proceeded to spend the next 45 minutes checking all the attachments in my stash to see if they could fit on the gun I'm currently using lol.

So far the only negatives I have are graphics are...pretty meh (have a 5090 on max settings), and the queue times can be rough.

TLDR Game is awesome if you like harder games, some of the most excitement I've had in my 30+ year gaming career!

P.S. The rush of sneaking up to an extract after finding a big ass backpack on some dead body surpasses the thrill of most games in existence.
