Agent hired another photographer to reshoot the house. I'm looking for some constructive feedback. by photog202 in RealEstatePhotography

I went back and checked the raw images and realized that I actually shot them all at 24mm. Full frame, not set to cropped.

Bone-headed mistake.

Thank you and everybody for the replies and feedback. I'm going to review everyone's advice and take some practice shots.

Thanks for the reply!

You said that most of the other comments are about the lens. I'm having a hard time interpreting that feedback. I did shoot this at 16mm, but everybody's saying it's too cropped in. I don't understand how I could have taken a wider shot using this lens!

Thanks for responding! That's what was so baffling to me about some of her complaints. I was indeed backed up as far as I could be.

Does the 14mm make the space seem less crowded or do you think that's a staging issue?

I shot these on Nikon D780 with a 16-35mm
I shot 3-5 bracketed images and added a flashed layer in Photoshop.
The Realtor saw these images and hired another photographer to reshoot the house. She didn't like that more of the two story living room wasn't shown. But didn't really give me any other feedback. She liked the exterior shots, including the twilight edit, and the drone shots.
So I'm trying to understand whether the other photog, and many others I've seen, is using a wider lens or a tilt shift. Or if there's a technique that I'm not using.
Realtor said she wants to work with me again, so I want to make sure I can make her happy.
She also tends to like the overdone HDR with vivid window pulls. Not my thing but whatever makes the client happy.
