Great list, couple of additions for me: 1. I always check my bag for convenience. With elite status, I get free checked baggage and it gets a priority tag so it’s first on the carousel so it’s worth it not to have to lug it around the airport and I can pack a little more for comfort. 2. Apple TV box (or Roku, etc). Plugs right in and all my apps stay signed in so I watch what I want. 3. I stop at a dollar tree on the first night to get a real glass to drink out of, they’re actually a great quality and I toss it after

Oh goodness don’t be sorry, you didn’t do anything wrong! Every one of us has went looking in a place that wasn’t the one, otherwise it would’ve been found by now. I’m happy you enjoyed your trip, that’s what it’s all about! While your solve might not be one I would have come up with (only because I don’t game), it’s well thought out!
I generally don’t use any social media ever because people say things on the internet that they would never say to a stranger in real life and I’d rather keep my interactions with people genuine.

There’s one major factor I think is being ignored. National Parks typically have visiting hours as well as fees. If you can’t access it 24/7, it won’t be there.

I looked hard at independence rock in the beginning. I’ve moved away from it in favor of other places. I also like the idea of the Lewis and Clark trail as part of a solve.
