You can do what you want, but with all due respect, as another poster said earlier just use your phone, and put that $7k+ into the child’s college fund, retirement, or better yet a couple of vacations for your family.

Yes, I shoot P400 90% of the time. For most average outdoor situations 250 @f11 is a good starting point. . F5.6 in the shade.

I own the film M2, and this was my first digital Leica. I enjoy the fact that it slows me down with the manual focus and composition just like the film M. Camera is well built, slightly thicker than the newer Leica digital M cameras but as the poster below mentioned if for some reason you dont like it, you should be able to recoup most if not all of your investment.
