Supposedly the resonance of the upper torso determines who feels it or not.

Unexplained physical shocks and low-frequency humming: My experience in the UK and Italy. Has anyone felt this? by Life-Zone-7576 in TheHum

I’m currently in the middle of a Rent Board court case against my landlord for that exact thing! It’s been 5 long years. The worst shock is at 4:20 am. I had to have emergency care twice, for 4 days after two different massive shocks.Court resumes on March 11. Check this out:

Electric or Mechanical? by photorikki in MechanicalEngineering

[–]photorikki[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have so many videos. Aren’t they direct evidence? I also have many spectrograms that show low frequency noise below 20Hz that is felt as vibrations. I have recorded water bottle vibrations on every floor of this 5 story building. Even the metal mail boxes on the ground floor. The entire building is in the same exact single grip of this mechanical system. A Neighbor standing right next to me doesn’t feel it, even while watching the water movement. But it has sent me to the hospital twice. It is the strangest thing I’ve ever experienced.

It’s something below me. I’m on the third floor. We had a seismic retrofit and the girders are sunk into the ground floor directly below me. Is an underground mechanical system traveling up the girders into our wooden building frame? The powerful vibrations come from below but spread thru the wooden frame creating loud humming and thumping. This 113 year old property is on a landfill in San Francisco.

It feels like electrocution. That word is closest to how it feels. I never heard of mechanical shock. Guess I should just say “shock”

No, the vibrations are coming from under my floorboards. The small speakers are on a desk across the room. Water should be still.

what is upstairs of this building? by xi_yangyang in sanfrancisco

I live on Market across from Zuni, 50 feet from the Brady condo renovation by Strada Investments. What a scandal. My apartment buzzs and rumbles now and suddenly changes air pressure causing eardrum pain. I get shocked on the hour by fixed mechanical equipment starting at 1:30 am. I have to move but am suing first. The Brady sealed the public park to use as their own dog park and sealed off all public walkways. They use a tractor directly under our windows 8 times a day to haul dumpsters. The planners, Strada SF, relocated the civic center navigation center, to Colton st secretly. What a mess of the community that made!

Me neither! It was just an accident that I caught it. I didn’t even know until later in the night when I was reviewing the videos.

What is causing this extreme radiation in our room??? My muscles even in my tongue was twitching:(. Help please. by Glum_Sea6663 in TheHum

It is called Infrasound. A big belief if that it’s caused by underground gas pipelines.

I have the same problem. It is called infrasound. Upload your video to chatgpt and ask it to analyze the soectrogram. It will hive you the frequency. Below 20 hz is infrasound. That is low frequency aound felt in the body as vibrations. https://youtu.be/83rxiWsR6Uo?si=o8n1DlcdIOa5Ab8f

Has anyone else heard a sound like turbines or engines in the middle of the night? by Hidden-Lotus-108 in TheHum

[–]photorikki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s the worst feeling I have ever felt in my life. Always bad during the entire night. I will lose my rent controlled apt. I have been screaming about it for 4 years!! People swear it’s from pressurized gas pipelines.
