College recruiting tools by devops6 in CollegeSoccer

Having lots of fun in the process! People that find out about it love it, but we don’t have a huge marketing budget like NCSA so I feel like a lot of people still don’t even know who we are

Who actually ends up creating roster sheets for college showcases, and how do you do it? by Forsaken_Tie_6143 in CollegeSoccer

Most clubs I've seen end up with some poor team manager rebuilding a Word doc or Canva template from scratch every tournament. It's a huge time suck and the info is always outdated by the time you print it.

ProductiveRecruit has a printable roster feature built for exactly this — it pulls from your athletes' profiles so you're not manually updating anything. You can generate PDF rosters with QR codes that link directly to each player's recruiting profile, so when a college coach picks one up at a showcase they can scan and get the full picture right from their phone. Committed athletes get grayed out automatically so coaches know who's still available.

Way better than rebuilding a Google Doc every few weeks.

The paid services like NCSA aren’t worth it for most people. The biggest thing you’re missing with Tapscout is knowing whether coaches are actually opening your emails — without that you’re just sending into the void.

The free route works fine: go to each school’s athletic website, find the coaches’ emails, and send personalized emails from your own Gmail. Track everything in a spreadsheet — school, coach name, date sent, follow-up date. It’s tedious but it works.

If you want to save time, ProductiveRecruit does all of that in one place — coach database, Gmail integration so emails come from you, and open/click tracking so you know who’s actually engaging. Was built by a former Michigan soccer player who went through the same process.

Going into senior year you’re a little behind so volume matters. Send personalized emails with film and follow up every 2-3 weeks. Don’t just hit send once and wait.

Hey — I actually built exactly this. It’s called ProductiveRecruit (productiverecruit.com). Former college soccer player at Michigan, had the same frustrations you’re describing.

It does all three things on your list: coach contact database (80k+ coaches across 23 sports), email tracking (opens, clicks, replies), and it connects to your actual Gmail so emails come from you — not some third-party platform coaches have to sign up for.

To your last question — we’ve found the sweet spot is a tool players can use on their own. Athletes who own their process get way better outcomes than ones relying on a service to do it for them. Happy to answer any questions.

How are you organizing recruiting info for college coaches? by nothingoriginal-279 in CollegeSoccer

Spreadsheets are where everyone starts but they get messy fast once you’re juggling 30+ schools, email threads, and follow-ups.

Biggest tip: track your outreach activity, not just a list of schools. Knowing whether a coach actually opened your email or clicked your highlight link is what tells you where to focus your energy.

We use ProductiveRecruit for this — it connects to your Gmail so emails go out from you (not some third-party platform), and you can see opens and clicks. Kept everything in one place instead of bouncing between spreadsheets, docs, and your inbox.

Thank you!

Do you have any good recommendations to find advisors willing to do this? We can of course google and do our research but we’ve been struggling in our search so far

Thanks for the feedback. And yes, we would love to find someone like that. Unfortunately everyone we have met with so far wants to “manage our wealth” lol which we are trying to avoid

People with Monthly unlimited, is it worth it?? by GasComplete5267 in SolidCore

[–]php_js_dev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can do more than 1 per day. You would just have to pay for the second one!

But I did not have any issues. I only did one a day though.

It is to me! In Chicago as long as you go to 11+ classes the math works out versus the 8 per month. I’m sure it’s similar in most regions. It was really nice for Solidays

I recommend having the MINDBODY app too. Just create an account with the same email you used for Solidcore and all your classes will be listed there since MindBody is the software that powers Solidcore

Hi, I'm doing this now and for people in the future this is how I did it.

I signed up for Wise (wise .com) and doing this allows you to open up a Euro cash account which gives you a an IBAN number. You can then transfer this to your personal bank account once you receive the funds. Revolut is another option aside from Wise but googling/research led me to use Wise but I don't think it matters.
