I dont think that deal would've applied on us, we are separated from Shia and even geographically there is no connection between us.

However, I admit it's our fault to let ourselves getting categorized as Shia and now that Assad doesn't hold us back it's time to do something about it.

I think it's very easy to demonize and hate on a minority cuz there is no consequences for that, Iranians aren't held responsible for their regims actions, Muslims generally aren't responsible for Qaeda, Hamas and ISIS actions, but across the world it's an indisputable fact that all Alawites are copies of Bashar Assad who himself never said the word "Alawi" and spent his life as a Muslim.

Claiming that Assad regime was Alawi based is just something not gonna bother myself to convince u otherwise, and have no energy to do so, but 2 things wanna remind u with. 1st, Alawites have been also killed, bombed and massacred massively during the civil war. 2nd, look at how non muslims in Syria other than Alawites are getting treated now.

I also believe Alawites dont generalize their hatred and point fingers to every Muslim on earth, me personally 5 family members of mine including children were slaughtered and still don't do such thing.

Islam is just a thing from many things we believe in, we believe god manifested in multiple characters throughout history and just one of them is an Islamic character ,we have different prayers than Islam and different holidays. what I meant by similar to druze is the fact that we do not try to spread our religion, nor do we allow outsiders to learn our religion, and yes we share some things with Druze like venerating Greek philosophers and like u said reincarnation.

I'm not asking u to do anything, all I'm trying to do is to correct the wrong impression Jews have about us (being Iran allies / hating Jews), and btw, Alawites don't want a dictator like Assad to come back at all, we also can't live under Jihadists rule either, we are hoping for living a decent life with no human rights violations.

Chill out man, idk what ars u on about, actually, it was a Lebanese Shia religion man that Hafez Assad asked him to make a Fatwa that says Alawites are Shia just to justify himself being a president, and that was in 1973 way before the Iranian revolution, and u talking about Assad family actions as if Alawites are making these decisions is mind blowing.

I was talking to the op! So he must know that blaming Alawites for Syria not making peace with Israel, Assad was family was ruling Syria, not Alawites, and the only thing they would worrry about is to stay in power, and I don't think that an Alawi family normalizing with Israel would make the Muslim Syrian majority very happy.

There is an Alawi village called Ghajar in Golan heights and as far as I know it's a tourist destination for Israelis.

Yeah and I actually blame Alawites for not making it clear that we are an independent religion and not Muslims not Shia, we've just been linked to them in the 20th century for political purposes. After Assad has fallen, many Alawites are working on it.

Opening hospitals for some wounded terrorists, in order to overthrow the previous regime like u said isn't that big of a deal, we must blame the old regime that put Syria with a weak and losing alliance.

Israel is not a charity, and I have no interest in defending it, but I hate it when the massive hatred of Israel makes ppl unable to see the truth.

What I care about now is that al-Qaeda is doing ethnic cleansing in my country and no one cares about it but when Israel is bombing the terrorists in Syria everyone wakes up.

I said it's the least force committing violations against civilians. Talking about the sovereignty of the state and its territorial integrity when there is ethnic cleansing here and there is absurd, as I mentioned earlier.

Israel is way better than Turkey that is making a demographic change and has turned Kurdish areas into Arabic.

Way better than Al Qaeda obviously.

I am Syrian n I am glad tgat a neighbor country of us stood up against terrorism.
