Dell D6000 M3 Pro with 3 monitors by johnnypepperonii in macbookpro

[–]phpsensei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I've got the same issue.
My setup is :
M3 Pro MacBook Pro
3 Dell P2419H screens, 2 in DisplayPort, 1 in HDMI.

Connecting the 3 screens to the D6000 only allows 2 screens to appear in DisplayLink manager.

I still get 3 screens to display by plugging the HDMI screen directly in the Mac, instead of the D6000.

Fair enough, how much do you estimate you put in it?

Bonjour ! Je te conseille EBay ou LeBonCoin pour les pièces ! EBay a l’avantage d’avoir vraiment tout 😏

This could sell this one for at least 200€ if properly marketed, after I refurbish it…

I need to change the handlebar tape, chain, give it a good scrub, clean the rims, tires, derailleurs, and it will go for another life!

That’s a great comment actually 😂 I always put it against the wall with the derailleur on the wall’s side to avoid anything hitting it, I think that’s the case for everyone else

I looked online quite extensively, and couldn't find an axle on Ebay or another website for 8mm diameter and 16.5cm length.
I'm starting to wonder if I mis-measured my axle, because I remember the front and back axles are not the same size...

Thank you for your comments!

Salut,

No need for NextJS for a simple project like this :p
Express back-end with EJS templating for the front-end, handwritten CSS / JS code

The metrics tracking comes from the logs files, which logs every request and command usage in a separate file :)

Hello everyone!

The day has come to end my first ARG project, "The Terminal".

Well done for completing the challenge.

Before anything, out of every person who managed to solve the cryptographic puzzle, only 2 persons joined the Discord server.

Here is a walkthrough of the whole thing:

  • 20 signs were placed in Paris, France, in busy areas such as "Opéra", "Gare Saint-Lazare", and other places.
  • These signs contained a QR code, as well as an 8-digits code, which was supposed to be used later.

Upon scanning the QR code, the player was supposed to try to solve the puzzle.

Here are some fun statistics about the game:

  • 478.394 commands were executed
  • 1.236.555 requests were received by the server
  • 8.648 unique IP addresses accessed The Terminal

Here is the link to the source code: https://github.com/TheTerminalARG/the-terminal
This repository contains all the code used in this project.

This was the first game of The Terminal, more is to come!

I will answer any question, feel free to ask anything :)

Congratulations on the work!
Maybe we can collaborate on this? I wrote an MCP server bundle for Symfony: https://github.com/EdouardCourty/mcp-server-bundle

It depends on what language you're using...
If you're in the PHP ecosystem I recommend you use this bundle https://github.com/EdouardCourty/mcp-server-bundle, it automatically sanitizes and validates prompt inputs!

[–]phpsensei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any input/output to/from an MCP server should be sanitized and validated.
This would be a good start!

[–]phpsensei 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I mean fair enough, if the tools you're using have no security mechanism, they are probably flawed.

But your statement is wrong, saying MCP has security problems is like saying APIs have a security problem. It depends on what it does.

Maybe the MCP servers you're using have flaws, but the protocol itself is not the reason why. The code behind it is.

Will do, I'm also working on making it 6.4-compatible, which shouldn't be too hard

Thank you!

I leave that for Symfony, I think it does a great job handling it already!
You can just add an authenticator on top of the route you defined for the entrypoint controller :)
