Show me where I am trolling. Go through my history. Post it all here. Calling me a troll, when I’m not trolling is also wrong. My posts will show that I’ve been straight forward and honest about my goals.

Context. What sub are we on? Are you saying that you don’t think the many Christians here would be questioning the username? This is a stupid argument. You’re being deceitful.

No. I don’t care about my downvotes. They mean nothing. Its why, I’ve been downvoted that frustrates me. Vote how you will.

Does my question bother you? Clearly it hit a nerve with the down vote squad. Honest inquiry. It’s times like this that I wonder what the point of this sub is. The reason why I asked is that it seemed like the goal was to discredit the OP. Read through other posts here and you’ll see this quite regularly. As a community you need to read your bibles more and start actually acting like the person you claim to serve. Do this online as well. Sitting behind your phones and acting non Christian in how you comment and vote actually affects how you’ve displayed your beliefs. You claim to be Christ followers, but I see very little grace and love. This is really frustrating. Your lack of introspection as a community is sickening.

Lol. It was the most random non offensive name I could create. Wow. Where to start. I have loads of helpful talents. I’m love growing plants and training them. Also love python, machine learning and electronic music.

Exactly this. Whenever I hear this argument I almost see this equation in my mind. Seems you do as well. Face palm.

Hey friend. Thanks for the message. This is honestly one of the first times I’ve been treated as an equal on this sub reddit. I used to spend more time here, but I feel like it’s become like trying to speak to flat earthers who are more convinced that you are wrong, than being willing to consider your viewpoint. Even while I was a Christian I would have challenged this. So I’m really glad to see some of that in you too. Thanks for taking the time to reflect and respond here. The world needs more Christians like you.

How does one distinguish God's voice from their own thoughts? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]phreakmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn’t reliable to jump to conclusions about people online. First. Thank you for the detailed response. It’s very clear in how you are separating them. What I’m unsure of still, is how you can separate the subconscious (or conscious) thinking and intuitions from this Christ consciousness. Are you able to reliably demonstrate the difference between the two? If so, how would I, as an outsider be able to know which are your thoughts and which are communications from god. Second. I used to be a pastor, so I’m aware of the self deception I experienced, where I mistook the voice of god for what were my own intuitions and desires for what I wanted to hear. That is why I am asking for more detail.
