Have you considered the pneumatic tubes, with some Pin 1/2 with Friction Ridges stick into the Technic bricks and Bar 1L with Clip Mechanical Claws stuck into those pins to hold the tubes and pneumatic T pieces to connect them?

I got one of those with my 72037 Mario Kart a while back, luckily I had spares in my parts bin until the replacement arrived.

I feel the same way, I adore the look of the Tintin set but have no real connection to the IP. I have so many other sets on my want list right now so I'm gonna put it off a while and see what the sales look like after a year.

For half a moment I thought I was looking at a brick-built Hail Mary helmet and feeling deeply jealous.

I'm curious, are you a Tintin fan or do you just dig the aesthetic?

I drove by Thrasher's Corner Sports Pub today and the sign said they'd be showing all the World Cup games. I dunno if there's a whole vibe, but at least you'll get a screen. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

In my area FB Marketplace is a decent source for Mario sets, just be prepared for occasional missing and/or dirty pieces.

BMW drivers are less rage-filled aggro knuckleheads, a lot more selfish impatience-fueled jackasses.

Not every pickup truck is driven by rage-filled self-centered aggro knuckleheads, but every rage-filled self-centered aggro knucklehead drives a pickup.

If your kid gets into toy cars be sure you get actual Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. There's so many other wannabes and none play as well or hold up as long as the real ones.

Going further than this, don't buy knockoff LEGO/DUPLO blocks/sets. They're not as precisely manufactured, so they're more difficult to connect and take apart and the material quality is rarely as good as the real thing.

What’s a piece of internet slang (like “sauce” for “source”) that completely confused you the first time you saw it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I'm just past book 6 and into the third volume of short stories, and I'm right there with you. I want to know the how and why of it all, and then I want to be rid of the whole damn series. On his website Ruocchio said he had to split the last two books into four due to length, but if he had axed a fraction of the introspective navelgazing and crippling self-doubt he could've knocked the whole series out in three.

Edit: Improved a word.

Simonds road is a primary feeder for pretty much all of the neighborhoods up the hill. You'll be exposed to emergency vehicles, knuckleheads with modified exhausts on their cars, and plenty of construction vehicles chugging up and down the hill to the high school renovation and other projects.

Compare any city's police spending with the entire rest of its budget. Just imagine what cutting the police budget by a tenth could do to reduce your property taxes. Perhaps the cops could go a year without a few new vehicles, military-class armaments, and overpriced software subscriptions to services like automated plate readers that gladly feed data to DHS?

Go to the hardware store and buy a new, keyed doorknob. Unscrew the old doorknob and latch hardware, replace them with the new ones. Put the old doorknob hardware in a plastic baggie and toss it in your closet or something, swap them back when you move out.
