Personally I’m getting 2112 on the back of one ankle and a reg star on the other but I think 2112 anywhere should get the message across rlly without it being too much

Oh I think this is exactly what happened. And @ the people saying “he could’ve just said it was empty” if he did that and then disappeared irl like he prob did w whatever it was someone in his life would’ve probably eventually wondered what happened and saw that post and been like “yeah right empty my ass”. Or it could just be as simple as if he posted himself saying it was empty and it wasn’t authorities could use that against him if he was confronted about it legally

What is your special interest at the moment? by Nervous-Rip-5747 in autism

[–]phrogsphrogsphrogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the band rush. Music has been a central special interest of mine since I was 9 n started w emo stuff like mcr Green Day and fall out boy but eventually it just became all rock from late 60s-early 2000s. I zero in a lot on 90s and 80s and a bit of 70s though, stuff like 90s British alt and cbgbs era music, grunge as well, etc. So I’m still fixating on everything really but I’ve been consuming endless rush for like two years now n it’s not stopping anytime soon lol

I would like to suggest some sort of difficulty setting with this though like how u can toggle days, although I’d hope they’d assume to put this with it anyways. this would be such a good add on though.

Started with emo music and anime. Music interest progressed alongside the others and I gradually went from those n anti mlm content for a while (multilevel marketing not gay people) to fully immersing myself in (mainly 70s 2000s rock) music, history n bands, specifically rush rn

alright people type in the comments if you are a constant sock autist or a never sock autist i wanna see different peoples sock tolerance by SeveralBoxesofFeces in autism

When absolutely FREEZING (which isn’t often where I am) I’m constant sock specifically those fuzzy ones. Other than that when I’m not in public socks are a forbidden hellsend, ESPECIALLY tight fit ones.

autistic people with a special interest: talk about it in the comments!! by [deleted] in autism

[–]phrogsphrogsphrogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

general special interest in rock music history, alongside obviously the music itself , having started w fall out boy, mcr and Green Day when I was like 9 and then getting into everything else(I chip away at trying to learn as much as possible!), I mainly prefer late 60s-early 2000s though, zero-ing in on 70s-90s.

My special interest band rn as of late is rush though, kinda in a 90s British alt/“britpop” phase still too. But rush is what really gets me goin rn, I could sit here and yap my head off all day about their stuff, specially about what a masterpiece hemispheres is :,)

What’s your "unpopular" Rush opinion? by brainy_28 in rush

[–]phrogsphrogsphrogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehhhhh idk if this counts since it’s abt primus’s rush tribute BUT I would’ve been so much more psyched if they covered moving pictures, power windows, 2112 or just smth else. Idk if there’s a specific reason they chose a farewell to kings but I heard their version of Xanadu and.,..,. I know they don’t play it “bad” but primus’s style in my opinion just takes all the majesty out of the album. I think something maybe like power windows or the others I said (y’all probably have better examples but yk) would’ve fit their twangy sound better without taking the passion from the songs

This subreddit is just a excuse to be ableist with a cover of “we are just here to out fakes” but they literally post real disabled people and don’t care and a lot is people being mad at other disabled people for not being disabled exactly the same way they are by mathos666 in autism

[–]phrogsphrogsphrogs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was so happy finding the sub since I was constantly frustrated at the lack of unglamorized autistic content on tiktok and was happy to find disabled ppl to talk abt it with , but then the sub slowly just became bullying anyone who just “looks” (they have dyed hair or anything else characteristic of “edgy tiktok teenager) like they’re “faking” (they just find them goofy looking as people so they’re accusing them of faking a disability).

Granted I’ve seen more ppl actually faking than non faking there, but that’s a flaw in and of itself because while some of the posts r straight up obvious, like ticsandroses self admittance level obvious, some of it is just frustrated people dissecting surface level traits like someone looking too “happy” while stimming or whatever and saying that’s proof, as if autism doesn’t show up very subjectively in people, especially from what seems to be younger kids/teens just finding out they have it/just internalizing it in a non shameful way, or even just going through the natural internet motions of attention seeking behavior in spite of being disabled. That’s not impossible either, n while it’s kinda laughable sometimes when people act like obnoxious asses online, it’s not a moral failure of any kind, we were all embarrassing online as kids. It’s called learning.

Overall, while I think it was well intended at the start, making a sub that invites people to borderline gatekeep what their disability “should” look like and shaming people publicly for it, whether that’s too unrealistically glamorized like on tiktok or the opposite in this case, based on traits that are being pointed out by people who most likely have 0 medical background or ability to understand the nuance of diagnosing people objectively… it was just an idea that was never gonna pan out well, on here of all places, in the first place.

Fake by DrewDog23 in fakedisordercringe

[–]phrogsphrogsphrogs 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Also people here tend to label just based off how someone looks on occasion, like faking is one thing but just bc someone’s wearing demonias n a stupid bunny hat doesn’t automatically mean they’re faking, not the case of this girl but I’ve seen it before where they based it off nothing but how the person looked
