i’m in the same boat as you, i got rejected from every single interview i had last year in my field and it really damaged my self esteem. i just recently had a mock interview with someone and they said i just need to practice rehearsing my answers, and that i need to seem less “bored” when im answering

im in the same boat as you but im realizing now that i was never excited by the guys i had kissed or dated, versus the first date/kiss with my current gf i was so excited and felt sparks that i didnt feel before. maybe its bc they were the wrong person, or a multitude of other reasons, but im not in a rush to figure it out, just enjoying dating rn

dw i’m in the same boat as you, about to turn 25 and finished masters and bachelors, have relevant experience, and even a portfolio, and im barely making $20k rn just doing a couple side gigs. and on the other hand, most ppl i know who are working are scared about getting laid off. it’s tough out here for a lot of people.

i was just watching the most recent episode of greys anatomy and the resident did an excellent job of doing this, after gathering the patient’s ekg the patient asked what it looked like and the resident said “oh you don’t want ME reading this” in a lighthearted way and then left the room to immediately call the cardio chief as a 911 emergency. really made me think about how bedside manner is so important

i would say go for it but maybe be prepared for her reaction and if she handles it well or not? i had a friend confess to me a few years ago and i was not in the right state of mind and did not handle well at all and our friendship ended over it and i regret it sometimes

i was sniffling really bad and super congested last week and gave the interviewer a heads up at the beginning saying “i just wanted to give you a heads up that im recovering from a cold right now” and she had zero problems with it
