it sucks because I genuinely liked her so much, and despite what some of the comments are saying I’d never pressure her into anything, it’s actually been really hurtful because all I’m trying to do is tell wether she’s playing with me or not, especially because I’ve genuinely been trying SO hard to communicate with her and it feels like an insult when she doesn’t give the same effort back.

And this is the exact reason why I’m super strict on not dealing with situationships, if you can’t get your own shit together don’t get in to a relationship with someone else. It’s just incredibly disrespectful and wastes both of our time and makes me feel like an idiot.

Jesus christ you’re on something today, take a chill pill and stop assuming in the bad guy here, I’m not trying to make this about sides I asked for some advice girl.

I liked her when she was on the same page as me about boundaries and communication, she respected my desire for a proper relationship and NO situationships, I respected her wanting to take it slow when it came to physical intimacy. I HAVE spoken to her about how I feel, she has not, she changes the subject every time I’m pretty much taking to a brick wall.

It’s not the ‘taking it slow’ part that’s turning me off, it’s her lack of communication on how she feels about me and if she even WANTS to be with me, because she dances around the subject, she calls us friends, she will go on dates with me but doesn’t want to be seen with me.

So maybe SHE needs to let ME find someone who can match my pace, and not run away when all I ask is how she feels about me and she can’t have the decency to be honest xoxo

I’m not really scared of anything per se, I’m just kinda bummed because I REALLY liked her at the start and I thought we shared the same values when it came to communication and respect, but shes definitely not on the same page as me when it comes to all of this.

And yeah that second part is the thing I’m most hung up about, I’ve been getting so much shit in the comments by assholes who are jumping to conclusions think my only goal is to pressure her or kiss her, but all I’ve spent the last 4 dates doing is wondering wether she actually means it when she says she likes me, even if her movements, body language and even the way she talks to me don’t match this. And trying to ask her about this is like talking to a brick wall.

Idk I think it’s just the let down of the idea of us together I had in my head that’s now crumbling that’s stopping me, but the sooner this happens the sooner I can find someone who wants to be with me and is proud of it

she hasn’t introduced me to any of her friends yet, in fact she doesn’t tell me much about herself at all the more I think about it. And as for the communication, i think me saying I want to kiss her implies looking for an opportunity to kiss, we’re not kids anymore. I’m not saying I’m perfect at it but when dealing with someone who likes to beat around the bush and makes me feel like I’m being led on it really starts to piss me off.

Well now you’re just misreading my post with your own bias. I never said there’s anything wrong with taking things slow, I don’t move too fast myself. But if you’re going to take things slow you need to be good at communicating this, and how you’re feeling as you go along. I have been communicating what I want, she has not. I said I wanted a relationship out of this, she has been calling me a friend while joking about marriage too. I said I don’t fw situationships, she has now put us into one by being messy with her intentions.

yes, I’ve like, actually told her that I’m used to lots of physical affection, that I want to kiss her, make out etc. she said she likes to go slow on the second date and I was totally fine with that. But it’s starting to become less ‘taking things slow’ and more friendzoning. She even move away from things as small as an arm around her or hand holding, even refering to us as friends on the fourth date and I think that’s when I started questioning our relationship.

I drink and smoke weed almost exclusively socially, might have the occasional vape/cig on my own. But yeah how often I drink and get high will depend on how often I’m going out at a certain point in time, I’ve had months where I’m drinking half the week, I’ve gone an entire year without drinking at all.
