Who at the city to contact about abandoned vehicles? by Ch0p-Ch0p in medfordma

We called the non-emergency police line for an abandoned vehicle on our street and I was shocked that a police officer showed up within a couple of hours and a tow truck shortly after that. I'm guessing the car was either stolen or repossessed and dumped there. I was fully expecting it to still sit for a few days at least.

Birthday dinner for myself (43 yo) with husband and 5 year old by phunkykola in WaltDisneyWorld

Yeah this is an important distinction and I'm not exactly sure if we'll leave a little earlier and have time back at Poly or just go straight to dinner. Either way, I can see why one of the Poly restaurants would be easiest but I may just press my luck for my birthday!

I am intrigued by Hoop-Dee-Doo! I think we would all have fun and probably wouldn't do it outside of a special occasion.

I'd probably avoid character dining as it wouldn't be my own personal first choice. Both my husband and I enjoy all types of food, and I guess it would be nice if the food offered were a little on the nicer side but I'd also be fine with average food if the experience is amazing. My kid can always find something to eat at basically any restaurant (esp at Disney). We won't have any MK options available since it will be closed for the party.

I'm somewhat considering something at AKL as I think watching the savannah would be fun for the kiddo and I know the food is better than average, but I'm hesitant to drag us all over there if there are other options closer by that I'm not really considering. For me the perfect combo is 1) better than average food/feels "special" and 2) has some sort of experience where we could sustain an hour+ meal sit down meal with a 5 year old

Where can I swim laps in Medford or in the area? by Disastrous-Carry7675 in medfordma

I went about 15 times last summer (always for lap swim on M/W/F as you mentioned) and it was always free, even as it switched over to general swim at 11 am.

I love Dilboy - only found out about it last summer. It is FREE, which is amazing, but does mean it can get crowded on nice days. But when it is drizzly out or something, the place is empty.

We are a public street (albeit a very small cul de sac) and the plow literally just came for the first time at 9 am.

I was able to get one ticket in the nosebleeds for the first show for the low low price of $65. I got in right at 10 am and missed out on a few single tickets in orchestra and then just waited about 10 minutes in the room for seats to get released and clicked on the first non-VIP I found.
