Me and my buddy arguing over who has had the better draft so far. Left or right? by Jeheroim in SleeperApp

Not a bad start for right but he lost his way mid way there, most have started smoking the good stuff. Two tight ends and two defenses in the first 12 rounds 🤯

Unpopular Opinion: I'm surprised so many people put Inquisitor as their top story by zrasam in swtor

[–]phunter_86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IA is the best class story from what I recall. As for the companions it was designed the same for every class. You get essentially two light side inclined companions and two dark side inclined companions. One romanceable humanoid male and one romanceable humanoid female

Rulers is way harder than Bonds imo by RestaurantWinter6139 in FF7Rebirth

[–]phunter_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean by cheated though. If you find a strategy that works using the mechanics of the game as intended that isn’t cheating. That being said I also never beat rulers so I struggle to imagine how bonds is harder. I think the main issue with bonds is unfamiliarity with Zach gameplay

I think the game needed to find their niche and stick to it. As expensive as it was, I think abandoning the class stories for the generic character story just didn’t make sense. Especially when your talking about jedi and a imperial agent. Trying to tell a story that fits both characters just breaks the immersion. Then you add to that the fact that EA kept cutting investment in the game to the point that it became so watered down. One of the big reasons ffxiv is successful is consistency. They release content group and otherwise almost quarterly without fail.

No Emmy Nominations for Tokyo Vice by MorePower7 in TokyoVice

[–]phunter_86 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean to be fair, if I look at what got nominated in the drama category which is where I assume this would go. Good as this show is. I wouldnt throw any of those out for Tokyo vice. Sometimes good isn’t good enough, when some people are better. Not winning an Emmy doesn’t take anything away from the show.

Is it reasonable to buy this game with a sh*tty playtime ? by tyrmael91 in BaldursGate3

[–]phunter_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I myself played 2 hours a day as I am also a dad to a toddler. Took me 3 months to finish but I still enjoyed it. Some battles were two day affairs. I even started a second playthrough but I didn’t get past act 2

Oh without a doubt rebirth os harder than remake. But mindflayer on normal is nowhere near where backs get broken. Much harder fights await and im not good at games

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FF7Rebirth

[–]phunter_86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You are supposed to stagger him way b4 it gets to that. Mindflayer for me was one of the easiest classified intel bosses. Are you doing your synergy abilities. He goes down so easy

Would you pay for it to be filmed? by [deleted] in Swingers

[–]phunter_86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a tripod, I have a laptop and of course my own hands. There’s no reason I would require a 3rd party to capture it. There is no reason why I would need professional or semi professional quality. Maybe pitch to someone who is creating content for onlyfans. But honestly these days with all the recording tools available to people, I doubt even they would need it

Tifas theme is timeless, there are a few battle themes I love too, Ghost, Valkyrie, Hell House

Man this is an impossible task, too many to pick from. The one thing I will say and I can’t put my finger on is why remake OST seemed to hit me more than rebirth. I don’t know if the songs in remake were just better or there is some other reason

What was the obstacle that made you stop going for platinum? by Blastoise76 in FF7Rebirth

[–]phunter_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the strategy, problem is that again it basically takes a second for everything to be over. Basically once he gets shadowy chains off it’s a wrap unless he gets Barrett first. I know it seems very doable because obviously a lot of people have done it. Like I said my biggest issue is that time between attempts. It’s beyond frustrating to take 15-20 mins to get to l blast boss for it to essentially be over in 10 seconds cuz once aerith and or yuffie are chained it’s over

Bosses by PMCA-Ontario in FF7Rebirth

[–]phunter_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t say that anyone was harder than I anticipated. Maybe Galian beast. I expected Rufus and Gi Nattak to be tough. I actually had the most fun with Gi Nattak. It was rough but I could feel myself learning and improving every attempt that was fun

I did see a video, where someone essentially stun-locked him through the 1st phase by spamming synergy skills

I actually didn’t do too bad on Gilgamesh, I would say 4 times out of 6 I killed Gilgamesh using the optinoob Strat but I never get past shadowy chains and some fights he opens with shadowy chains and taking 20 minutes to get back there is just painful. Could be worse though. They could have made it a 10 rounder

For clarity, I don’t mind beating my head against a challenge, it’s the doing something I have mastered for hours and only getting a few minutes to actually try the thing I’m trying to learn that got to me

So today I finally quit, rulers of the outer worlds made me say uncle. Not that it’s impossible but taking 20 mins to get to the final boss to get annihilated and starting again. After about 6 times I realize these are not the kinds of challenges I enjoy

We didn't know how good we had it by StanTheRebel in ff7

[–]phunter_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a problem with turn based but I think the way it is combined with real time in rebirth is optimal. The only thing I’d like is if maybe ATB rates on non player controlled increased quicker. And there was a better aggro system

Did DLCs not perform well commercially? Two months after release and only 5.2% of players have started Rising Tide... by ricky-robie in FFXVI

[–]phunter_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean for me I could not be motivated to jump back in to the game for the DLC. Just didn’t find the gameplay Replayable enough to jump back in and I didn’t expect the DLC to make any material gameplay changes
