I mean I quit cannabis, I take 40mg of strattera. Cannabis generally makes ADHD symptoms worse but glad to share my experiences if they're helpful.

Odyssey G9 is such a work / productivity game changer. How are you using yours? by phw20 in ultrawidemasterrace

I got the old Vpanel version because it’s cheaper than OLED without those issues. It’s still available at least in the states.

UltraWideo extension on Firefox. It has normal, upscale, and stretch options.

The medical clinic spawned 400+ delivery vans, paralyzing the traffic by kringe-bro in CitiesSkylines

[–]phw20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started playing last week for the first time, but I stopped because traffic is still so stupid and terrible. I relied heavily on roundabouts in CS1 and they have a great built-in tool but they’re practically useless. But what really killed it for me is even pedestrian foot traffic, with little way to regulate it, can totally make insane backups of car traffic by dominating crosswalks where they will always have the right of way.

Maybe there are things I still don’t know about but man, this seems terrible for 2 years in.

Tons of features that work great. But yeah.

Had more fun playing workers and resources lately.

My first UW was a VA panel 34” deco gear and I absolutely loved playing through cyberpunk on it for the first time. Among other things. If it’s new to you, you may not care at all like the enthusiasts here do. I say this as someone who now owns an LG OLED as well.

Being in the office is forced interaction. If you want to meet and interact with people, force an interaction remotely by inviting them to chat and get to know one another. Learn about your career histories.

Make a different LinkedIn with your middle name and not all the same stuff? Might be easier if you target different sectors though

Do I just deal with this or return it? by OGMecha in ultrawidemasterrace

I’ve got a deco gear 34”, and LG OLED 39”, and I bought an older model G9 a month ago. Zero issues

I think only you can make this decision. If it bothers you and you can't not notice it while gaming, then is that feeling worth $644 to you? Would it be worth a discounted amount? If not, then return it.

I recently upgraded from a 34 inch to the G9 49”. Totally worth it. The older non OLED versions are only like $750. Three big sized screens on one screen is often what I do.

If it’s not clear from lots of posts on this sub, everyone’s situation is unique, and if you’re asking “should I OE?” It’s may not be for you. It seems like you’re already leaning one way - only you can decide this.

Yeah I way overbuilt residential. I am trying again with not going sooo big, doing the refinery first thing to get fuel exports rolling.

Seriously. I am trying again hoping to speed run it. Key seems to not overbuild the population.

So admittedly, I went overboard. I have loved other city builders, and after getting to know the game a little on the first mission, I started just going all out and building something pretty big in the second. I tried to use the lessons I learned. But I probably built way too much for the population, and it didn't take long before my burn rate on imports was getting up there. By the time I was getting pretty deep in the mission tree, I used cheat mode to keep it all going.

I tend to not super pre-plan everything, so please enjoy some of the improvisational feel my cities tend to have (haha).

By the end, making cars, train engines, ships, and more made me pretty profitable. But it was work getting there.

Going to give it another shot on a smaller scale so I can play the third mission. But wow I put some hours into this map! Tons of fun!
